I feel like Mammoth is the awkward phase of IDV. Like, it’s when you’re still figuring out what works and what doesn’t and how to play and all that while bee and hound are just the practice to learn all the mechanics and stuff, ya know?
im currently hound bc i hate ranking and i dont feel my skills are good enough to actually go to something higher, but i have been playing for almost four years lmao i joined in 2020

I’ve seen a lot of people who fail at rank once and then are to scared to try again but I can guarantee that if tried a long time ago, and try now, you will have improved. Along with that, it really helps to have team mates that you can talk or call to communicate with in what you’re doing because it’s really not Randoms fault that sometimes they on considered bad. Sometimes your play style is a play style that whoever is playing hunter knows exactly how to counter, or your play style is different than your team mates, which is exactly why you need a team you’re compatible enough to not call with or to be on call with a team that you can make call outs to or if you need support or anything. If you do decide to start ranking, Please just remember that you have no idea what’s going on behind another players screen, so don’t be rude or tell someone to hurt themselves, because you never know when someone might do it or why they played so bad, and you don’t want your comment to be the reason why they quit.

With me standing there during the basement when little girl was trying to save, I was trying to teleport down but the game wouldn’t let me for some reason. The random charge attacks are because I play on mobile and I misclick often

Part of the thing you have to remember is that idv has a nasty system of matching low tier hunters with mid tier survivors. Like when I was low croc I was constantly getting matched with high mammoth.
fr like I understand the urge to judge based on how well the other faction plays but sometimes the matchups are so off. It’s mostly low tier hunters against high tier survivors cuz of how few people like to play hunter but I’ve also experienced being a mammoth survivor and going against S badge meta hunters in the top tiers. For some reason. So yeah.
I feel for that alicorn that didn’t look behind, I do the same because I don’t have the game sense to look behind me when I’m kiting in certain areas because it messes me up (I’m only an elk though)
As a player from Asia, the playstyle from Asia and NA/EU is quite different. Very interesting... 😂 Personally, I find that NA/EU matches are chaotic as heck while Asia matches can be way too serious...😅😅

I KNOW of one match that would have your friend losing his mind. I got out of elk finally but I went up against a BQ. she had a 4 man before 1 cipher was done. The hunter ? A snake. I could have CRIED. ALL OVER US WERE MAMMOTH!!! 😭 anyway these matches were fun to watch but the commentary was gold. Impressed by that one sculptor match so finally someone that didn’t flop with my main. I still say NA/EU get too much flak for how they play but seeing those alicorn (?) matches umm made me feel better. Given I cannot kite but I’m very good at decoding. I came back to idv after a 6 month long break and as a hunter main let me tell you how inconsistent survivors are in elk to mammoth. One moment they’ll be brain dead and the next they suddenly kite like gods
NOOOO I missed the time to send a submission, I was gonna send an insolence-trump card bonbon gameplay LMAO. Well, next time. Also, I'm going to explain why inso-trump is good, while also explaining why Bonbon can actually run any persona trait. Bonbon in the past used to be an only-confined user with tp, the meta was slower, so hastening and destryoing good kiting areas was the best way to get quick downs. You'd just be super good at bombing and survivors wouldn't have a chance to deal with you. However, nowadays, the meta is super fast and you don't really have ways to destroy a good area, as survivors are so fast they can jus transition to another place. Here is where insolence comes in clutch: not only it has a good build by reducing the distance you get pushed, but it also accelerates your early game, which is the worst part for Bonbon. Essentially, you want the remote control bomb asap to help you down someone. So, the idea is you bomb someone or hit them enough that you can down them with remote control bomb. We all know that there are hunters that bring insolence for a better early game or to cope with their bad early, Bonbon utilizes it for both. HIs bombs are too short at the start and his first skill is really good. Now, to the second trait, honestly, you can bring anything. Confined still has some utilities, like I described, trump card allows you to be better for endgame and detention same thing, except you have to hit. Now, you have many alternatives: using perma blink with detention or confined, perma tp with the same or use blink/peepers with trump card. I believe the reason the Bonbon there opted for blink inso-trump is that the team there looked very good at kiting a bonbon, besides the Prisoner and that'd mean that he'd need to gamble on the spawn. If he was unlucky on the spawn, he could make great usage of both traits, as blink would assist on getting an early down together with the early remote bomb. Summing up, his choice was due to the team comp and him seeing he was probably gonna have a hard time, opted to try having a "decent" earlygame and guarantee a tie.
One thing I hate the most when it comes to high tier players , they feel like they some God of some kind . Like bruh , they just regular @$$ players who once were worker bee also . So the hypocrisy to be critique to noobs it’s ridiculous and dumb

Hello I was the LUCKIEST LG OF ALL TIME, I Also pinged like twice to rescue when its critical, and was too focused kiting to notice cipher was primed, I also do not know how I didn't get hit. I was waiting for that first blink and my brain rotted when it was failed, oh and the leech to the prisoner was to force body block so I could transition into that loop.

I came back to idv after a 6 month long break and as a hunter main let me tell you how inconsistent survivors are in elk to mammoth. One moment they’ll be brain dead and the next they suddenly kite like gods
NOOOO I missed the time to send a submission, I was gonna send an insolence-trump card bonbon gameplay LMAO. Well, next time. Also, I'm going to explain why inso-trump is good, while also explaining why Bonbon can actually run any persona trait. Bonbon in the past used to be an only-confined user with tp, the meta was slower, so hastening and destryoing good kiting areas was the best way to get quick downs. You'd just be super good at bombing and survivors wouldn't have a chance to deal with you. However, nowadays, the meta is super fast and you don't really have ways to destroy a good area, as survivors are so fast they can jus transition to another place. Here is where insolence comes in clutch: not only it has a good build by reducing the distance you get pushed, but it also accelerates your early game, which is the worst part for Bonbon. Essentially, you want the remote control bomb asap to help you down someone. So, the idea is you bomb someone or hit them enough that you can down them with remote control bomb. We all know that there are hunters that bring insolence for a better early game or to cope with their bad early, Bonbon utilizes it for both. HIs bombs are too short at the start and his first skill is really good. Now, to the second trait, honestly, you can bring anything. Confined still has some utilities, like I described, trump card allows you to be better for endgame and detention same thing, except you have to hit. Now, you have many alternatives: using perma blink with detention or confined, perma tp with the same or use blink/peepers with trump card. I believe the reason the Bonbon there opted for blink inso-trump is that the team there looked very good at kiting a bonbon, besides the Prisoner and that'd mean that he'd need to gamble on the spawn. If he was unlucky on the spawn, he could make great usage of both traits, as blink would assist on getting an early down together with the early remote bomb. Summing up, his choice was due to the team comp and him seeing he was probably gonna have a hard time, opted to try having a "decent" earlygame and guarantee a tie.

Hello I was the LUCKIEST LG OF ALL TIME, I Also pinged like twice to rescue when its critical, and was too focused kiting to notice cipher was primed, I also do not know how I didn't get hit. I was waiting for that first blink and my brain rotted when it was failed, oh and the leech to the prisoner was to force body block so I could transition into that loop.

i was the composer in the last match 🫡 i picked that match specifically because it was mid at best, but i know how to play i promise lolol usually i get on just fine by listening or using the radar so i don’t always need to look 😭 also, i knew which corridor the hunter was in when anti was nearby i just pressed it accidentally while readjusting my phone 😞

I'm in mammoth 2 (mercenary main) and i can assure you that you either find very good like god tier player or "terror shock while vaulting" players. It sucks (it's not like I'm a god player but at least i play in a decent way)
