    2 cheaper life living is in Montenegro or more even cheaper Baltic countries like Poland ,Estonia

      Estonia is NOT cheap. I spent a month there staying with a friend. Cost of living is very high!!!

    I will have choose Fréjus instead of Toulon. There is a cheaper city along the méditerranée in France

    The same principle to live in Europe should be applied as on the country of origin: if I can’t live in the USA (as a retired) longer than 6 months/year due to regulations, then an American shouldn’t be able to do the same in Europe. Unfortunately most European countries are too soft and allow that Americans, Australians, Russians, South Africans and many others to buy properties to rent to Europeans and earn money, inflate prices and use our public healthcare without injecting a dime! If we try to do the same in the USA out other countries, we’ll be denied that. Unfortunately European politicians are totally bought and allow everything the USA says. Tough to change that…
