Thank you for the video :) I just got mine last week. I had been looking for a product that I would like and something that I could make toys for my daughter that she wouldn’t instantly break as was the case with most oven set clays. In a small way it reminds me of a kneaded eraser. I like how it holds its form well to while sculpting it.
Moving up in the world LOL! I just wanted to look more official for the channel and this 1 shirt was made for that. I might make a few more in the future tho that people would actually want. :D
Awesome! I received mine last week and so happy with it! :D I haven't used any yet though as I am working out what is best to use it on like making flowers which are delicate and also my bendy earrings, pendants etc. as regular clay has broken before when making those. I am really hoping this Cosclay won't break when I bend them into shape after baking. Time will tell. - Heidi
Awesome that you got yours too! Honestly I was worried about them having over 1000 orders at once but they seemed to handle things quite well. Flowers would definitely benefit from Cosclay. Not sure how you go about doing your bent jewelry (I remember you mentioning it before) but from what I understand about the Cosclay it wont hold it's bend without metal in it, and if you bend it and then try to bake again it will break. I'm curious, can all the necessary bending be done post bake? At any rate, just do small test batches to get a feel for it. Let me know how it goes? Fun fact: there is now a white heart with a purple background beside your username for me that says (Received one of the highest number of hearts from you) cool :D thanks for being a friend on here for so long! ~Tom
@@TheBroodingTom yes the bending has to be done after baking or it won't work. I bake the pieces and then assemble the jewelry. I will test both with and without metal inside. Wires hold the bend in the finished jewelry but they would be external from the clay pieces. I will definitely let you know how it goes. :D Neat about the white heart with purple. :D I love purple. :D You are most welcome. Thank you for all the inspiration and moments of relaxation derived from listening to your soothing voice as well. :D - Heidi
hey Handsome, thanks so much for the videos. Im starting a project and trying to build human characters on clay, trying different clays and trying to find out what the best tools are there to work with sculptures. If you have time to help it will be very cool. Thanks and stay safe.
Hey! I just found out about CosClay and found your channel while looking for more information. Do you think you could use it in a mold? Do you think you can thin it? Thanks for the unboxing video! I’m excited to check out more of your work!
Thanks for sharing this. I got my order a couple of weeks ago, but I broke my wrist, so no sculpting for me for a while. Can't wait to see what everyone makes.
Sorry to hear that you broke your wrist, wishing you a speedy recovery. On the positive side, this clay will wait for you for years if needed so no worries there! Yes, it will be interesting to see what people do with this new clay. Get well soon!
Nice video I am new on your channel and i am searching about clay info and want to get good response from clay artists i have seen an other video of cosclay (rubber polymer clay)snack i have a question that its polymer clay or anyother flexible clay and cosclay need to be bake or not ?and thanks
Do you know if you can use Sculpey´s Bake & Bond and Sculpey liquid for Cosclay? Or do I need to buy the Cosclay version of Bake & Bond and liquid clay?
I don't know much about bake n bond because I never tried it but as far as the liquid clay goes yes you can use that with cosclay. I'm using mine until I run out then I'll just get cosclay's version of it.
Yes paper will leech the oils from polymer clay but this packaging, as well as packaging from other brands, all have a wax-like coating that stops this from happening. I have boxes of Super Sculpey bought years ago and still no issues. Hope this helps. :D
It will eventually release to the public, I'll try to find the date it releases.. It can't be that much longer. In the meantime you can sign up for their newsletter at cosclay.com
Not exactly sure when the official release will be but I can try to find out. I think I remember reading something about it being May, but not sure. Have you signed up for their newsletter? It could be helpful. cosclay.com is the sight

Your excitement over your merch is too cute!
