Love this light and Nitecore. I use the P30i and MH25S on duty. The MH25S has been a great well rounded light for everything from admin to room clearing and the P30i has been great for more deliberate tasks like vehicle stops and search and rescue.
Well it's vesatile as an edc or tactical. Battery life is somewhat okay but the heat disapation is not as good as I was hoping. Me personally for edc I use the Thrunite Catapult V6 Pro which has way more throw but offers just enough narrow beam to give you a slight wide dispersion. For a gun mount light it's fair but I have seen better.
I have mixed feelings about the larger-reflector thrower flashlights because they are really cool and powerful but i just think about how when a propietary battery runs low or the light steps down, then the light loses its main function which it specializes in and then you're left carrying around a larger, less practical flashlight with a spotlight beam profile which extends out a fraction of the flashlight's full capability. The ulimate would be a powerful thrower with no stepdown or advanced cooling and non-proprietary batteries i think . 🔦
I have the old one, and it's still a great light, but this one have an awesome UI, and it's usb rechargeable! That turbo from of...holly💩, it's awesome!!! 😍🔦😍🙋♂️🤷♂️🤣
Other cons not mentioned: No ability to tail stand. No moonlight mode. No strike bezel. No red LED in a hunting light. Pocket clip & belt holster are included but not shown here? At $140 plus tax, this one’s looking like a hard pass, unfortunately. I enjoyed your review, nonetheless. Cheers!
Ben I just ordered this light and my friend just ordered one too love the video Nitecore makes some excellent stuff
Nitecore makes great products. I have lots of their lights. In fact, I've got the P30 mounted to my Canyon road bike for night rides
Lol you need a flood light for that not a thrower
