Hey, I'm glad to see all those yellow handle values you are using. Those are from the company I work for Banjo Corporation here in Indiana. I guarantee that I touched over 75% of those. We hand test the majority of all the valves. With those quick connect valves, you are in and out. Nice to see my work put to work.
What’s the best way to keep the handle from getting tight when sitting? We use banjo and haven’t had any problems! Just noticed that some get tight to open and close.
@jaredb108 keep the ball lubed up. The only thing I noticed is if the ball gets dried up or if some product gets stuck to it. They seem harder to open and close until its clean and moist. Maybe some clean water will help or any kind of lube or slightly greased up. Try a thin coat of dish soap as long as it doesn't contaminat your material running through it.
Thank you Jordan for going into depth and helping others better understand! We invested heavily into liquids this past season and will be using liquids now and into the present.
brine really is the way to go for snow removal it cuts out having to have an entire machine. without having to handle the salt you dont need a skidsteer on site. you can also refill the tanks with the same trucks that spread the brine by pumping them into the tanks when there is downtime in the snow
Does the salt ever separate and require agitation in the storage tanks, or also in the application units? Does the salt crystallize in the spray unit and compromise the pump system and spray nozzles? Is there a required maintenance and flushing after each use, or can it stand "as is" for several days or weeks during those busy periods? Are there components within the spray unit, like a drag chain on a spreader, that have an expected life span due to direct contact with the product? What is the maximum effective width of the spray path? Thank-you
environmentally the brine tanks are far better even if you had to set it in a catch pan theres really no wasted salt especially when it comes to spring time packout
Man forget about that, a salt spreader does the job perfect , Another piece of equipment that they are tried to sell to you to put in your stockpile of junk.👍👍
fyi....... not sure of the plastics today..... but plastic tanks from 90s and early 2000s become brittle in the sun and shatter easily..... had a 1000 gal tank give out on me..... not a good way to take a bath at 9am.....thank god it was only organic disinfectant

@@michaelfarris2556thanks for the input.
@jaredb108 Try vegetable oil it's a food product, so it should be safer. I'll probably have my ass handed to me for this, but I hope it helps out?

Awesome thanks Stan & Jordan! I bought a VSI hydroseeder and have worked the guts out of it so I know they are all about quality!

The cheap way to do it is put your Salt on-site and Put a cover on top of the salt , And put some bricks around the Cover. And save your money.😜👍

What is the brine used for !?
Pretreating areas before a freeze.
...or pickles.
For pickles?

it would be better if they set up their tanks oilfield style where they are wrapped in steel so they could be roughly winched onto a bed truck.
here to help
