Rodelbaan on-ride HD POV Duinrell

This form of dry toboggan run is commonly known as a Sommerrodelbahn and are very popular throughout mainland Europe. The plastic toboggans are rider controlled with a brake lever that can be raised or lowered to speed up or slow down. This video was filmed at full speed.
Duinrell is located near Den Haag (The Hague) about half way between Rotterdam and Amsterdam in Wassenaar, Netherlands.

It's really cool how this park is surrounded by trees and nature. Kind of reminds me of Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire. It has a lot of excitement, plus you are surrounded by nature!

This was my favourite ride when I went to Duinrell; I remember one time trying to go at full speed all the way, but my car ended up tipping over on one of the curves and I fell off. Luckily I wasn't hurt at all! lol😂

I love rodelbahns. I did get into a collision on this one where I had to fully brake but my friend behind me just rammed straight in my back just before the last curve in the video. Luckily nothing much.

When I went in April last year they were only operating the side that wasn't filmed... Still, this is easily the best dry toboggan that I've been on (well it would be considering the only other one I've ridden is the one at Oakwood) ! :P

I would probably flip out after the first minute of the lift and just hop off, pick my little toboggan thing up, run up the hill and set on the top and push off. I. Am not. Patient.

spc7jax its your weight that makes the trick. Also water. when it rained they are gonna clean the whole track but its still very slidy then usual. I was going 65 km/h one time.

This is full speed! To be honest this is one of my favorite Bobsleds! It just get's flying through some of the turns!

You gotta get to the top of the hill in order to slide down it. You can either hoof it or get pulled up. One is more fun than the other, it's all about perspective ;).

I rode one in Sweden where it was 5£ a ride and I spend one ride snailing behind 2 old women who wouldn't go faster than 5 mph. Such a waste!
