Oof, yeah kind-of to be honest. I played this game like a million times and seeing that Drew played it, oh my lord lol. Thought he'd never. It's also like 5 times harder now, it had a massive update literally an hour before this video was released.

Just so you know, you can drag a box to select multiple units, and when you do, you can select "auto-capture", which allows you to select a nation you're at war with, and the units will go from city to city, capturing them without the need to manually control them.
Also, manage your money. No money = no units, no units = no defense and no offense.

Drew when you see explosions on soldiers, it means that their training. Also it's a pretty simple game when you learn everything.

The vote to restart button was kinda cool, but it got removed because people kept raiding old servers and resetting them.
Tip: Hold Ctrl over your cities that you want to select and 'highlight' it with your mouse while holding left click and highlight your cities, and recruit your soldiers.
If you want I could show you the ropes of rise of nations.
1. Don’t fund rebels unless you have the money and the nation you fund them in has low stability.
2. Ally as many people as you can so you don’t die right away.
3. spectating is only really possible without dying is by being dead.
4. Keep your capital at all costs

The only way you will ever be able to expand (forge an empire) is if you have a rare trait on a ruler that allows you to sustain suppression of rebels.
It removes the point of ever playing a minor.
It depends on how big of an empire are you making.
You only need reformer trait if you're willing to spend over 10 hours.
Ruler traits are irrelevant if you're spending a hour for a small country empire.

@@sophiaccore Yeah they are pretty storng, the only counter that exists against them is if you use bombers to destroy the nukes before it takes off as soon as it takes off there is pretty much nothing you can do. But they take alot of money and and time and research power, it takes around like 7000 research power in total and since they take alot of time the earliest you can prob get them is 2027-2031 ingame.

Drew here are the core mechanics
Ctrl + Drag w mouse will select multiple cities, here you can build troops, build stuff or tax the hell out of them
Drag will multiselect troops, while invading you should press automerge off and autocapture, the countrys name

You could try iron assault as well its actually rather unique in that you get to make your own custom scenarios however all people do is just stick to the default world map or make a modern world with nothing changed
