Keep politics and Rangers separate. This will divide the support to no end. From what I’ve found out, he was a Tory party donor, and suddenly, would you believe it, he is handed a peerage. Yeah, so we are getting one of them it seems, probably because Gilligan and Co are tories. Be prepared to be triggered over things that have nothing to do with the club. The last thing the fans need is someone with a bought title telling us what we need. If he keeps his mouth shut, raises large amounts of capital legally for us to spend on players, then fine, but that is asking a lot of a man who bought a peerage.
@@williammurphyslaw bollocks. All that unionist pish came in much later. We were founded as a Scottish club, playing in blue and white. Just because a young princess Elizabeth visited ibrox after ww2 with her dad, doesn't mean she, or any other royals gave two fucks about us. Do you think she or the rest of the family checked their livescore app on match days to see how we're getting on? Talk about naive...
Never thought i'd say this but i'm not sure that i can support this move. I hate the Tories way more than i love Rangers. The tories spent 14 years lowering our quality of life in the UK to fill their own pockets. No such thing as a good tory.
@williammurphyslaw aye right. 🤣🤣🤣 Will be a Rangers shirt with NO GOOD TORIES printed on the back, as any rational, Scottish person would do. Some of us arent sucking the royal arsepiece non stop and care about MODERN britain and not 500 years ago britain. 🤣
@@badonions2399 well put. Embarrassing how so many of our fans base all their political ideals purely on the football team they support, rather than making up their own minds.
This guy should be a substantial appointment. His business connections and experience in govt are extensive. What I want to know is how much time he can dedicate to a chairman role. We have issues, and all hands on deck are needed. The chairman is required full time, certainly in the beginning. With everything Lord Offord has going on, can he give up the necessary time for Rangers ?
One of the best chairmen we had was David Holmes who wasn't a football man or a Rangers man and he was the brains behind Souness coming to Rangers, what he was was a great businessman which is required from a chairman

The guy bought his peerage for £150k and when Bojo made him a lord it was publicly noted as a total pantomime.
Aww great weve employed Keir Starmer 😂
A Tory lord as Rangers chairman no fecking way Politics and Football don't mix.
Agreed. Tell that to the Union Bears though.
Very Naive, Rangers are a Club built on Principles of the Conservative & Unioist Party.
@@williammurphyslaw get into 2024 or watch the club die around us... 🤷♂️

Hi there I am fed up with the manager he should be sack now
Do you think we can Offord him lol
Nice one fellow bear 😂
Never be back until Clement goes
Its the Lord and Saviour Rangers need
I thought we had stopped hiring people with hair.
What's his expertise if any in football ? If none then it's a stupid decision .
What's that got to do with running a business?
Another entitled bag of hot air who’s well used to sleeping off his free lunches, keep buying the season tickets 😂

Could there be a vote of no confidence at the AGM?
Great another non football man on our board we are a joke
You cant have an Ex footballer as a Chairman you need a Buisnessman (look how that works for other clubs
