Etsy has replacement leather straps for sandals you can contact a seller there tell them the dimensions, order two in leather in white and then they will both match for your botega sandals 🥰🥰🥰

Style is constantly evolving and changing. I find it so satisfying to go through my closet and take out pieces that are just not right… we should all focus more on what fits and makes us feel good as opposed to what’s “in style” at the moment. Not all styles work for everyone.
I think it’s cool how a lot more people, including influencers, are seeing thru the fast fashion trends and are not falling for buying every new thing that comes out and we’re trying to get more timeless pieces and quality over quantity! However I’m loving having so many sweaters to choose from this year hehe need the comfort
id love to see like declutter paired with like a "wardrobe completion haul" like all the things you noticed you need to complete outfits (ie date night bag, perfect white t) then a staple outfits collection. Idk. I need to do this myself would be good inspo

Love a closet clear out. I did one earlier this year and I was holding onto pieces that I didn’t wear anymore for no reason. Freed up lots of space for new clothes….filled it pretty quickly 😂
i would try etsy for a strap! also i really like sweater! it is similar to your other one, but the fabric is so unique and if it fits nicely id say give it one more go!
glad to see you decluttered the Copenhagen sweater - I suggest rethinking the Filippa K one too, whenever I say "I like it but...." that means it is time to go!!! Every time you think about wearing it you will be like ooo it is itchy though or ugh but it sheds when you have other lovely knits you love!!! As I have made my way through my 30s I have realized this is a vital shift in the way I think about what I keep and what I save.
Actually putting your items on is great advice...I think we keep (and potentially get rid of) things often based on how they look in our minds, or could look, vs how they really do!
I prefer the Copenhagen sweater to the other similar one personally. I like that it’s a bit more unique! Also, there is truly nothing worse than an itchy sweater

I hit the big 60 this year and I can’t tell how many times I switched up my style. Like you, I did get rid of my T-Shirts and they have boomeranged right back in my closet “many years later” 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Love these vids. I’ve always taken my shoes to a shoe repair place and I found them so helpful. 🙏 you find something. 🥰🥰🥰

i need to do a clear out of my wardrobe too! i have some pieces that i've bought thinking that i would have the chance to wear them to somewhere nice, but i barely leave my house so i'm always in super old t-shirts (with holes thanks to my cats) and even older pair of shorts hahaha

did my closet clear out last week with my mother. As someone with adhd, I NEED to see my clothes in display in order to remember them, otherwise they just go unnoticed and unloved for ages, which is why I clean out my closet regularly lol

Re: straps, you could use ribbons or find similar style at value village or Poshmark and use the straps from those shoes. Even if they were black they could look cute!

I’ve seen white leather straps for sandals sold on eBay. Try that for a temporary solution until you can find a cobbler that can make it for you. That tennis outfit was super cute. You look so athletic and toned! I need to do another closet clear out as well since I haven’t worked in an office in years. I used to wear very tailored clothing since I’m petite and curvy and oversized items drown me. But now I live in comfy oversized pieces and don’t really care if I’m swimming in the clothes lol!😂

You should be able to find a leather smith on Etsy or in your local area. I had the same thing happen with a pair of sandals and they just whipped me up a new strap and I picked it up a week later
Whenever I see your closet clear out I feel the urge to get rid of half of mine! I also need classics in my life, but have a lot of fun things I rarely wear. But my white t-shirts, simple button ups, simple crew necks - they are a forever love
I definitely need to do a closet clear out also, I've had it written in my to-do list for MONTHS but I just get so overwhelmed and keep putting it off lol. Lately I've been having the "I have nothing to wear" feeling a lottt, which is untrue, there's sooo many clothes in my closet but I think I need to just focus on a 'capsule' wardrobe if you will. I've been very sparse with my purchases and sticking to things that best flatter my silhouette because I kept falling into the trap of loving something on someone else then when it's on my body, it's just not for me especially since my body have changed recently. It's a journey and it takes time for sure!
Love wardrobe declutter! I'm in the process of switching over to my winter wear, need a couple new cozy sweaters. My rule, if it's itchy, get rid of it. 🤣🥰
I do find once you part with something, you no longer see it and mostly forget about it, so put your “maybe” pieces in a black sack out of sight and if you don’t miss it after 6 months, take the whole bag to the thrift store!

The Quick Cobbler in Vancouver has done custom work for me in the past. Maybe they can custom make a strap for you. If the leather doesn’t match, you can get leather paint to match (Angelus Paints) from Lonsdale Leather.
Crying that I missed your Anine Bing tshirt sale because I’ve been in love since I saw them. Also the fact that bottega won’t replace the strap is ridiculous

I bought that Free People jacket last year in an army green colour and I frickin love it so much. Definitely one of my faves.
If that one sweater is itchy and leaves stuff everywhere I’d list that and keep the 1 you bought in Copenhagen! Even if it has a pinky hue, pair it with something grey and/or navy and it’ll look fab 🫶🏼

You can go to a cobbler (shoe repairman) or even a small batch leather maker for the shoe repair. Good luck 💗❄️
Austin has a lot of leather makers I feel they could do it here. Alternatively you could purchase and use gold chains as ankle straps?

for the strap go the restorie in London they will try getting a strap for it that matches (not sure where you are from)
if not could you wear them without the straps like take off the back straps both completely including the one attached to the shoe and wear them as they are then

There’s a cobbler in west oaks mall in Abbotsford who creates straps! He matched the leather of my work bag perfectly when my dog ate both of them 😅

I have no idea about where you can replace the leather straps but maybe if you wanted to you could get the back part cut off and then you would still have the amazing front part style of the shoe but just without ankle straps
