  • Finally a valuable life skill that even you, yes YOU! can accomplish with very little effort. Going over how to fake play piano. All you need is at least one working finger, excellent taste in UA-cam channels, and a pure heart and you'll be a fake piano master in no time!
Hit me up on Twitter: / seandanielmusic
    And Insta: / sean_daniel_music
    www.seandanielmusic.com
    Listen to the new album:
    iTunes: goo.gl/kQCrbv
    Spotify: goo.gl/wd2Wnd
    Bandcamp: goo.gl/RgME6b
    Soundcloud: goo.gl/e8QDYa
    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his UA-cam channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

great tips.. Just be sure you have an 'excuse me while I go to the bathroom' type line prepared so as not to play for more than 2 mins, otherwise people will be on to you. Also, never, I repeat never, show this to your piano teacher or any piano teacher, or musician.. or any one for over 2 min. Otherwise awesome. The other thing is it tends to sound like music on the cheap on a cruise ship (omg I know who I sound like now, SC, lol) ;-) good fun vid

This is quite funny! I mean, I’ve been playing for 15 years now so I know my shit, but seriously quality BS right here 👌👌👌
If anyone is reading this comment, further tips off this vid:
    1. He didn’t mention that he was holding down the damper pedal to sustain the notes he played (so basically he could make all these sounds from the piano without holding down all of those notes). Using the damper pedal would make it sound more professional as this man knew. The damper pedal can be found as the very right pedal on the bottom of the piano.
    2. The (major) Arpeggio trick he touched on does not work on all of the white notes, only C, F, and G. The other notes require sharps or flats (black notes) to produce a major arpeggio; however, you can also use this trick on the white notes A, D, and E to get a minor arpeggio.
    3. Lean into the piano when your playing things soft and lean away when your playing louder to really convince your friends that you are a pro and you know what you’re doing. I know this works because it’s what I do to impress the boys.
Seriously though, great video! This comment wasn’t supposed to sound braggy and cocky at all, just helping to further enhance how to BS crazy mad piano skills 😂😂.

Not sure about faking anything though your teaching style is brilliant. Whenever you give a person a way to sound or look impressive right away they will more than likely want more of it and that confidence alone will jumpstart their learning... and impressively will teach them from day 1: improvisation skills! Good stuff...

I just applied the knowledge from this video and within 5 minutes, my wife’s family was popping their heads in the room wondering who was playing because it sounded pleasant.
As a guitar player, the idea of physicality is something I’ve been missing. Instantly, I could feel my body naturally swaying at the piano to create unique rhythms. I can’t wait to apply this to my guitar playing.

Sean, if you ever read this - all that I ask is that you fully take the sentiment that I about about to express to you to the depths of your heart and , whatever doesn’t fit, well, may it runneth into your soul :
Not all hero’s wear capes, Sean.
    not. all. heroes. wear. capes.
This video should been mandatory viewing for every man, woman, & child on the face of this planet. I ask you : What could it hurt??? I totally learned something valuable from this video - no joke. You, sir, are the real deal. I mean that in all seriousness and I would fist -bump 👊🏼 the ever-living shit out of you if we ever to meet in person. You can write that down.
To whom it may concern :
I, without so much as a moments hesitation, FULLY endorse & rate this video : MUST WATCH !
    A++++++
If you skip this video - you are missing out.
    Straight-up.
Lie to yourself and tell me that I’m wrong , but at least one of us will know the truth, which I shall repeat once more for clarity : If you skip this video, you are missing out. As in : Instantly, you will be lacking. Even if youre not even remotely aware of it. Humans were literally born to learn shit like this. Its what seperates us from, like, goldfish & ferrets, you dig? So, why don’t you all ACT like a human and culture yourself for a spell by watching this video. If “Variety is the spice of life” , then videos like this are the basil, you know? We’re talking foundational life-skills type shit, here. Do I need to go on, or are the great majority of you catching the drift of the unapologetically-HIGH praise that I am happily-heaping onto this video???
    Alright, then.
    Press “PLAY”.
I’m not going anywhere until you do.
    I’ve got all night.
    Try me.

You have helped me a lot. I have an amputated fingerr and have been under the impression that I would never be able to play the piano. I played the saxophone and had to have the F pad custon extended on my 1913 CONN Alto sax. The shop did a great job of finding a similar sax to cannibalize so I don't have a mixture of time elements involved in my instrument. It took a long time to relearn the timing with playing notes when involved in playing with a nubb of a finger. I don't see why I couldn't learn to play the piano now. Thank you!

      you're*
Say it out loud. If the "are" fits then it's you're.
      "You are the best, Sean!!"
See? It fits. From now on, just say it out loud before you type it.
Here's an example of it not fitting:
"Son, I need you to clean you're room."
As you can see, it wouldn't make sense to say "I need you to clean you are room," because his son is not a room, he's a human so you would instead put "your."
The correct sentence would therefore be: "Son, I need you to clean your room."
Remember, whenever typing "your" or "you're" simply say the sentence out loud to see if "are" fits because "you're" = "you are."
      You're welcome.
Btw I spent the time typing this out due to your implication that you're interested in learning things.
