If your room roof level is too high and also there is no light points or uneven light points in your existing roof then "False ceiling" could be a better option, and 2nd i personally think the most use of false ceiling is in summers, your AC haven't to perform more work in result of lesser electric bill, as with false ceiling your Room volume decreases by 10 % to 20% in common cases.

Very accurate information but I have a question sir, since renovation is already going in my house, so should we install the switch boards before paint or after. Also we will get new tile flooring, so should we remove the old tile margins before paint ?
Switch board to be fixed after paint. And tiles I could not understand.

Sir , is it a good idea to do false ceiling in bedroom .. my concerns are - need for maintainence , possibility of rats/bats making nests between ceiling and false ceiling which may cause health issues , possibility of the gypsum board flaking off with time .. plz advice ..thanks

The bedroom is abit on the interior of the house, there is a small 3x4 window window but due to neighbouring building, now airflow is reduced & fresh air is less. However, because It has 15ft height, the hot air stays top...
