I have a 2010 ss also. I would recommend getting a herst short throw shifter if you have a manual
the speedo is in kph not mph so he’s doing about 60. but if you have a manual the top of third gear is 100mph. ask me how i know 😉

What’s done to the exhaust for the pops?
Mine is fully straight piped including cats (high flow cats) with x pipe and it doesn’t pop like that
