This is surprisingly entertaining. If you block out the knowledge that it's all just models, it's amusing to see a truck derail and their facial expressions don't change 😄
I think the guy is just there just in case if the model derail or if they nearly fall off the set, and if they do then someone is there to catch them so they don’t break

Honestly with the amount these guys do. I wouldn't be surprised if there were hundreds and hundreds of these mess-ups. Every shot and every scene has to be at its best.
This is honestly amazing, how many takes they had to film with accidents and how they’re mostly similar in outcome, these models really took a beating and we’re still were treated with care like any actor or stunt performer. Which it’s why it’s such a shame to see how the models are treated now. And it’s surreal seeing giants come out of nowhere in the background lol.

Yo this is so amazing I enjoy seeing test out scenes my favorite is when then the crew members holding and controling the models now we know how they did the models in the scenes.
All this has shown me is not only rusty and the Boulder one of the best episodes in the series, it was also the hardest/biggest pain in the butt to do.
I just love how the boulder tried to take on Rhneas and lost 🤣. Also in one of the takes of the trucks falling into the gorge Henry looked like he was wearing his ill face
Can you imagine the dialogue that would be put into this? "Oh, sh*t!" "Sorry...my fault!" "Ow, my face!" "...You stupid!" "How many times do we have to do this scene?!" etc.
I love seeing takes that didn’t make the cut! I mean, I’m glad they didn’t make it because in comparison to the printed versions, these were sort of weak. But it’s still fun to see, especially the one at 0:11, that one got me cackling. If these tank engines coexisted in our world, I would’ve loved to see them laughing, breaking characters, and apologizing like you see other actors in bloopers 🤣❤️
