Persona endings make you sad not because something sad happened at the end, but because for a really long game based on character development it sucks for it to end because you have to say bye to these amazing characters.
Goodbyes is the most hardest thing in life. . Its just sad. . Although everyone will always be in our hearts, still parting with our love ones (mostly friends) is totally a heartache.
I just beat the game and ever since i saw the ending and credits i can safely say that this one of the BEST roleplaying games I ever played in my life. I wasnt able to max everyone since this was my first walkthrough and was barley new at the whole persona gameplay but I must say its gonna be sad that i wont get to interact with these awsome characters again. I mean i have persona 4 arena but it wont be the same. Mabye someday ill do a new walkthrough but after yesterday all i could do was lay on my chair and wipe off the sweat after fighting izanami for the 7th time. Still this song just reminds me how far ive gotten and that I just experienced one of the best games in my life. Thank you Atlus for such wonderful games

Ah, Persona 4 Golden, my first brush with the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. I don't even regret it for even a moment. When my 14-year old self first played the game on my Vita, the resulting journey was like stepping in from black-and-white to full color. The characters, the story, the gameplay, the music... all of it was amazing. I was very sad when I finished the game, not only because it was a major heartstring-puller (though it was still a happy ending, make no mistake), but because I saw everything the game had to offer, at least story-wise. I romanced Ayane, took down the Killer, saved Marie, and got the Golden True Ending. But just like the Investigation Team themselves, I'll always have my memories of my first playthrough, and will always look forward to playing the game in the future. Persona 3 and 5 are amazing too, but Persona 4 is the only game that I can call an unabashed masterpiece. When this game raked in millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of fans, you bet your ASS this game franchise earned it.

Than Aigis finished saying she'd always be there for me and my friends just remembered the promise and everything, it was just tragic I started bawling. For nanako I just broke down all together, cuz a little girls dying is just fucking sad. P4 had an amazingly emotional soundtrack but P3 fucking delivered tragedy on one platter after another.

That the scale is too small. That the writing sucks. But Persona 4 is the game that i actually miss. As awesome as Akihiko, Yusuke, Ryuji, Makoto, Mitsuru and the rest of the casts were, I never actually "miss" them. Persona 4 is the game that i wish never ended, and this song perfectly captures that feeling. People think that Persona 5 will get milked just as much as Persona 4 did with the spin-offs. But it won't. Because the truth is, Persona 4 (and it's cast) had more impact on the player than Persona 5 did. People kept buying/wanting P4 spin-offs because they loved the characters SO MUCH they just had to get more time with them. I'm quite certain that won't happen with P5. It won't have as many spin-offs, I guarantee. P3 had the best final boss. P5 had the best gameplay. But P4 was the best "experience". And that's what sticks with me most.

I beat Persona 4 Golden Last night. (Only time ive ever played persona 4) I expected exrteme sadness like i usually get after playing a heavy RPG. But i got a rather heavy feeling of satisfaction instead. This game is great, its so great, it takes my spot of my favorite game ever.
Play Persona 3 FES. A bit harder than Persona 4, definitely a very good game. and if you do plan playing it until the end please expect extreme levels of tears.
Most credits songs usually pass me by, I have very few exceptions to it, maybe three credit songs will always make me listen to them all the way through every time I see them. I am proud to say this track is one of them! :D

페르소나 시리즈 3, 4, 5 편을 해봤는데, 정말로 친구들과 헤어지는 기분이 든 건 4편이 유일했다. 각자가 품은 고민이나 성격도 제일 몰입할 수 있었고, 주변에 실제로 있을법한 친구들이라서가 아닐까. 언젠가 3처럼 리메이크를 기대해본다. 한국에서 구매할 수 있는 아틀러스 게임은 모두 해왔지만 단한번도 실망한적이 없는 게임회사다.
3:41 the first time i finished the game i was crying when i heard that part. the menu music was the ending music. it was beautiful and i had to avoid been seen by my bro XD.
Damn. It feels like I just beat this yesterday when really it was 2 years ago. I've never actually forgotten the feeling. This still gets to me, gonna be playing Golden and Dancing soon before 5 is out this summer. But to add further compliment to this series, I really can't get enough, each time you beat one of them you're left with a really good feeling by the end. Strangely enough though, whether it be a bittersweet ending like 2 and 3, or the happy ending in this, you want to experience more of the adventure somehow, but you also feel like you might've done enough. If there's anything I'd ask Atlus of in regards to 5, is that I hope it leaves us with a sense of completion that is either similar to that, or something unlike we've ever seen before that'll get you to applaud by the end credits.

God p3 and p4's ending themes make me cry every time because it felt like the adventure will continue forever but atlas it was blast thanks Altus for making one of the best rpg ever and here's hoping that p5 keeps this same crying ending theme.

I CRIED ALL OVER AGAIN NOOOOOOO. Okay, so Persona 4 was my very first game of the franchise and it has successfully captured my heart to a great extent. From P4, I moved back to P3 then ahead to PQ. I completed P5 sometime around last year and I can't wait for P5R to come out! I'll also be heading to Japan to visit various P5 locations such as Sangen-jaya (or Yongen-jaya in the game) and Shibuya (despite the fact that I've been there a few times before, this time I will roam around looking for exact areas within the game). I'M HYPING ALL OVER AGAIN RIGHT NOW.

페르소나 시리즈 3, 4, 5 편을 해봤는데, 정말로 친구들과 헤어지는 기분이 든 건 4편이 유일했다. 각자가 품은 고민이나 성격도 제일 몰입할 수 있었고, 주변에 실제로 있을법한 친구들이라서가 아닐까. 언젠가 3처럼 리메이크를 기대해본다. 한국에서 구매할 수 있는 아틀러스 게임은 모두 해왔지만 단한번도 실망한적이 없는 게임회사다.

人生で一度はやっておくべきゲームって言うのはありきたりだけど、ペルソナ4はガチでそれ。
Endings like this make true/good endings much more rewarding!

The only end credits that made me cry a lot.
Damn. It feels like I just beat this yesterday when really it was 2 years ago. I've never actually forgotten the feeling. This still gets to me, gonna be playing Golden and Dancing soon before 5 is out this summer. But to add further compliment to this series, I really can't get enough, each time you beat one of them you're left with a really good feeling by the end.
Strangely enough though, whether it be a bittersweet ending like 2 and 3, or the happy ending in this, you want to experience more of the adventure somehow, but you also feel like you might've done enough. If there's anything I'd ask Atlus of in regards to 5, is that I hope it leaves us with a sense of completion that is either similar to that, or something unlike we've ever seen before that'll get you to applaud by the end credits.
Justin chen dude, I ain't even mad. I needed a breather since we got a bunch of other games coming out this year. I can wait until February.

ペルソナ4は本当に良いゲームですよね！
God p3 and p4's ending themes make me cry every time because it felt like the adventure will continue forever but atlas it was blast thanks Altus for making one of the best rpg ever and here's hoping that p5 keeps this same crying ending theme.

Oh come on Persona 4 was dark. It was just outweighed by it's happiness. Adachi litterally tried to kill the world because he was bored. That's not dark? Persona 5 is said to be darker though.
Aqua Jet A Villain's motives being dark does NOT make something dark. Just look at Pokemon, specifically Diamond/Pearl/Platinum- The main villain wanted to eradicate the entire Galaxy and re-create it in his own image. Yet, is Pokemon considered to be a dark game? Nope.

Aqua Jet Well, your argument is flawed, because I don't care for the Persona games besides Persona 4. The only problem with 4, was the fact that they milked it dry. That's why Devil Survivor will always be the superior franchise.
Aqua Jet persona 4 was just a bit of light for the persona serious, but as you know persona 5 will definitely ne dark like the rest of the persona games.

Okay, so Persona 4 was my very first game of the franchise and it has successfully captured my heart to a great extent. From P4, I moved back to P3 then ahead to PQ. I completed P5 sometime around last year and I can't wait for P5R to come out! I'll also be heading to Japan to visit various P5 locations such as Sangen-jaya (or Yongen-jaya in the game) and Shibuya (despite the fact that I've been there a few times before, this time I will roam around looking for exact areas within the game). I'M HYPING ALL OVER AGAIN RIGHT NOW.
This song for me has always represented the feeling of leaving behind people you love but also a sense of brotherhood and love it was just magnificent Persona 4 you will always live in our hearts
