Living somewhere where you can practice cheaply and accessibly is extremely helpful (unless you have the $ to splash of course), I can do 10 track practice sessions in Japan for the same price as 1 or 2 in the UK and it's helped me alot. I've known people come out here with everyday driving ability get to a pretty good skill level in a few years.

I think a camera position in the middle is better. It looks smooth and doesn't dizzy. It's the same driver view level make a seen without camera shake likes in gr86 video.
