The Sons of the Pioneers perform "The Everlasting Hills of Oklahoma" live at the McPherson Opera house in McPherson Kansas, October 2023. (This is also one of the songs we performed at our October appearance on the Grand Ole Opry.)
Tim Spencer wrote this song in 1946 for the movie "Home In Oklahoma" starring Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Gabby Hayes, and the Sons of the Pioneers. He considered it to be perhaps his best song.
