Cleaning/Conditioning Your Guitar/Bass Cabinet Grille Cloth:
Many people will use acidic soap products and/or car products such as armourall to clean their cabinet grille cloth not knowing they are actually causing harm.
    Why?
Most of your high end cabinet grille cloths are actually made from an organic plant material weave, so just like a guitar fretboard, any products with acid or petroleum based ingredients will dry out and deteriorate the material (lemon oil included).
But dont fret, there is a method to ensure your cabinet grille cloth is kept in good condition, prolong its strength and flexibility as well as keeping it looking nice 😊
You will need a few items to get the job done.
    1) 2x clean toothbrush
    2) A container with warm water
    3) A Vacuum cleaner
    4) Some paper towel
    5) Good cloth (Microfiber preferred)
    5) 100% Bore Oil
(I recommend Fret Doctor bore oil as some companies who claim to have 100% bore oil have other ingredients in their product)
The following video will show the method used to clean and condition your grille cloth

Thank you for this. I’ve been using my MESA 4x12 OS cabs as night stand tables on each side of my bed for a few years now as I use FRFR monitors now. They’ve become furniture and my kids spilled a couple things that left spill marks down the front that don’t wipe off easy. This saves them and makes them look brand new thank you!!

Thank You; I followed your example and my Marshall 4x12 looks GREAT. Just like it did when I took it out of the box. WOW.

Thank you for a great video, and a quick question, please: I'm looking for Fret Doctor Bore Oil, but the Fret Doctor products I see on line call themselves "a proprietary blend of fine exotic oils to nourish and protect the natural woods on your instrument," and I don't see the words "bore oil" on them anywhere. Is that the one you recommend?
