You dont need anything to use the zip line. It automatically add a handle. All you have to do is jump at the line.

Hey man. Im stuck on upgrading my workbench. Do you happen to know where to get tough thorns. I was thinking from cactus but i cant find any in the desert but i haven't gone that far either. Since im only level 24 i was thinking im not high enough level since most of everything wrecks me there. But I can't find anything online where to find tough thorn

Are you @waltgrisly509 ? But to answer your question, go north to the deep sea fish field and fight those guys. They give tough thorns.
