Seems like you've been gone for a bit. We're so blessed to have a young man like you teaching us. What wonderful heart and spirit you add to your information!
A lot of detail as usual. And glad of it. As a novice with mushrooms I will rewatch these videos
Me too!!! He's awesome 😁 Ive only found 1 beefsteak so far
I always appreciate the vocabulary lesson. I use many of these words frequently but it is rare for me to hear them actually spoken out loud. Your videos are very helpful and enjoyable.
I am so impressed with Adam and his knowledge and kind nature! I’ve learned so much and would love to hang with this guy.
"The cap is deeply depressed". I felt that
Adam has a thick encyclopedia in his brain! Amazing!
This channel deserves 10x the views it gets! Wonderfully produced and informative as always.
Love your videos, great information. To me, wether there toxic or not; they are really beautiful fungi. Thank you for sharing these varieties.
you create good videos, thanks for the information and sharing your knowledge..
Thanks for the great videos and trash pickup! I’m always cleaning up trash at the places where I go fishing. I just can’t believe why someone would want to litter a beautiful lake, river, or anywhere.
Thanks for the video, you really do put forth a great presentation, clear and concise! With good audio and visual clarity.
It's a Good day when Adam posts a video. Excellent information and great video. Well done, Adam.
I love your channel. Kids can learn so much while off school if they visit this channel every day...for anyone new to the mushroom world ill give a shout out to Paul Staments, people like him and Adam are crucial to reconecting our species to this planet. We have to replug our spiritual ambilical cords back into this beautiful earth! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom!!!
You're a walking encyclopedia, Adam. Good thing too, 'cause I could never remember it all without your informative videos. Thanks again.
Adam I really get excited when I see you have a new vid. It is obvious you really love what you do the enthusiasm you exhibit makes me want to hit the woods. Thank You
I am continually astounded at the variety of life all around us. Liked the harvesting of trash reminder.
Wow... Great Show and thanks soo much for sharing all this gold ✌️😊👍
Thank you for adding in the message at the end regarding picking up garbage. Everyone has to do their part ! Usually just bitch about trash all over and do nothing.
I always appreciate your videos. Thank you.
Thanks for another video. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful cinematography , thanks
I like ( no , love) your channel. Not embarrassed to recommend to anyone.
Another great bit of knowledge. Thanks, Adam!
Feels intimidating to approach the understanding of mushroom let alone the culinary.
Peter. I have the same issue
peter simon hey mate, just learn about 1 mushroom at a time! Including its look-alikes of course
Thank you to all.
I am continuously blown away by the vast number of fungi that surrounds us. Until I came across these videos, I had no idea most of these even existed. The funny thing is, now when I see any fungi, whether in the lawn or around trees, I will often stop what I'm doing to go over to have a look to see if I can identify them. Great video once again.
IKR? I've been known to pull off the road when I see something growing on the roadside. Maybe they should make bumper stickers that say "I brake for -garage sales- mushrooms."
i eat them raw since 30years now, and never had problem, if i can suggest, you can eat them like carpaccio, with a bit of fresh lemon juice salt parsil let it rest for 5 minutes and eat it. its delicious and very very healthy cos lot of iron in it...
Thank you Adam for another fine video. You are a great teacher, I may add.
Harvesting trash is the best lesson in this message even if you are just walking in the woods and not hunting for game or mushrooms. Leave the place you are visiting better than you found it is a principle I live by. Great information as usual Adam! You are fueling my mushroom learning experience.
w0w~haven't even watched yet---but *EXCITED THAT THERE IS A NEW ONE*
YEAH *US* Thanks Adam, glad You had a good trip in safety & health.
TTYS~
Awesome!
YES! THANKS for advising people to pick up trash! Willi B. in the PNW.
Awesome video. Thanks for discussing the great benefits of mushrooms other than for the fry pan. I am always sharing the wonderful work that fungi do in the woods to the middle schoolers in our hiking club as well as my own grand kids. They are amazed at the colors shapes, touch and diversity of these fruiting bodies. You always have a way of making them very interesting; so thanks!
Thank you very much for information. You are awesome Adam.👏👏
I love your channel! Keep doing what your do, it’s such a great job!
I love the video. And especially you mentioned picking up the trash! Thanks
I really appreciate your last suggestion about harvesting trash. I hadn't thought of that before! I'm going to commit to picking up a bag full of trash next time I hike.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge here :)

So good. Think I found my fave channel for 2020, so many videos to catch up on. Thanks for this knowledge... I may have to watch each of your vids at least ten times to properly absorb all the information. Cheers, Paul.
You're great man. The information is easily digestible and very entertaining. I'm inspired.
I tent for many moths a year walking the forests in Great Britain after seeing one of these videos, I spent a whole camping trip "looking for mushrooms" and lichen.
wow was I surprised, I think I used to walk with blinkers on.
I printed my photos in the winter on A4 photo paper keeping them in a folder. All 284 of them.
I showed them to the Queen Elizabeth national forest rangers in Scotland who asked to borrow the folder showing it in the lodge.
It's amazing what you see when you know it's there.
Naming them is difficult, your videos are a great help, thanks.
Another great video.
Adam you are a Rock Star Man! Keep up the great work
Fantastic! Getting pretty excited to start getting out and looking, its just been so dry.
Very interesting choices. Love the variety. Never seen any of these before, but hopefully I'll change that soon ;)
I Love how much information you give. and it's all easy to understand. How you remember al those latin names. When I did plant and tree identification in college... wow that was harder than I expected. I wish you'd come to Northern California and do a video of what you can find here. Half of the state burned down last year.... but my area has a lake with a 365 mile total circumference. I'd love to see you here.
Love your videos. Great description. Helped me identify countless fungi. Lots of love
thanks Adam
I love watching your videos ! I learn soooooo much ! Wish I could go hunting with you! Keep them coming, and if you find a ganoderma lucidum do a vid about those please! Thank you for all the info! Love it !
Thank you sir.
you are actually too good for youtube , i wouldnt be surprised if you made the music through out this video
Very informative as always. Through your channel I have learned to safely identify 6 types of mushrooms. I wish I had a local mentor to teach me more, but haven't found one. Foragers are few and far between here, which is a shame, as there are tons of wild edibles. If I had a dollar for every time someone saw me walking in a field or around the woods and offered me a ride because they thought I was stranded, I could take a nice vacation! People think I'm odd for foraging, but since I'm an artist and a rescuer, I'm used to that! I hope one day you are able to come to my area, coastal Mississippi, and make a helpful video on what you find here. Field guides and such are almost non-existent for our region. Northern Mississippi is much better studied, but the actual coast is not. Ah well, thanks for your lucid and learned presentations. I enjoy them enormously.
Very informative video. Thanks
Awesome vid thank you
Excellent video, as always!
I would love for you to go "On Tour" & do a 50 State video series.
great video! thanks!
Thank you
Superb Education ! Loving it.
Awesome video I learned a lot👍
Thank you for your expertise... I’m trying to learn how to forage for good mushrooms to eat

awesome video as usual :)
I appreciate your advice. Thank you for caring and sharing. 19:45
Thanks
Great video. Very informative. I really appreciate you and your videos. Too bad I live in California but your videos are super interesting. Thank you.
You may find a lot of the same basic mushrooms in CA, depending on the region, John. I'm in France, and we have a very similar selection of the common mushrooms - like the beefsteak, which we call 'langue de boeuf', or beef tongue. Do you have a mycological or naturalist association nearby? I was lucky enough to fall into one 25 years ago, and it's become a passion for me. Even if you don't have a lot of time to devote to it as a hobby, an occasional organized outing is a good way to learn what's in your area.
Oh my word! Berkeley's polypore is what's on the base
of the oak tree and it's
huge.
Great stuff, I hope you make shirts or patches some day.
I love this type of video. It's almost like a Jeff Corwin Experience or Steve Erwin type show but for mushrooms.
Such a great resource to find! Great videos :) Is anyone else mesmerized by mouth lol?
Absolutely chuffed my friends on Facebook put me onto you and your channel. Always a delight to watch your videos and absorb some quality info on my new hobby. Thanks for all that you do. Going to sign up for your news letter today and cross my fingers for a class in Knoxville, TN soon😄 Cheers!
Awesome, thanks for the support!
Wish I had this fella's knowledge on mushrooms. I live next to Green ridge state forest here in western Maryland this time of year my yard is full of mushrooms. Even got 6 or 8 clusters of Indian pipe growing on the back side of my property.
Good job brother!!! I live in Lancaster PA....wish I could learn what you know.... cause we have a lot of mushrooms around here
I live in Lancaster county PA and hunt wild mushrooms during a season there is lots of edible mushrooms in our forests.
Seems like a real fun gi
Like your videos...very informative and educational. I've come across Red Reishi mushrooms while hiking and have become amazed of the medicinal benefits it has. I'm surprised you've never mentioned in your videos?
It appears that the stem of fungi education has no cap.
6:51 Ah yes, I will simply take out my bottle of potassium hydroxide that I bring with me whenever I visit the forest.
