@victoriawilliams654 This teacher you're referring to is Osho, also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. He was a spiritual leader and philosopher known for his teachings on meditation, mindfulness, and the exploration of consciousness. Osho's perspective often challenges conventional beliefs, and his discussions on the idea that life has no fixed goal or purpose can lead to intriguing insights. Feel free to delve into his talks and writings to gain a deeper understanding of his teachings and philosophy!
@@victoriawilliams654 maybe I'm wrong but I assume he would never consider himself as a teacher beacuse he has nothing to teach, he is kinda showing something, maybe reminding us of something. Osho had one particular mission To rid followers and give people their independent thinking back He wouldn't like to be called Master because he constantly spoke about stopping followers
This very moment is the purpose ( life ) if these words were said from someone you love and respect you would believe and then have joy in your heart to be alive and you would drop the mind ( ego ) but if a person is caught up in who they think they are with most probably issues with this and that whatever someone says you will never believe ....forget the mind come from the heart .. Peace peace peace ❤

Agreed mostly to but one..critical disagreement we have lol - let me try and pursaude you to tweek your words a little :) LIFE has a purpose. It defenetly has a purpose. Every single life has a purpose. EVERYTHING has...a purpose. Life is valuable, unique, distinguished, evolutionary - without purpose means its useless...no purpose...no good for anything....no point. life definetly has a purpose, otherwise everything else you teach would not apply, right?
@WaleedKhan-ms3qv I appreciate your perspective and the passion in your response! It's clear that you strongly believe in the inherent purpose of life and everything around us. While some philosophical viewpoints, like the one discussed earlier, explore the idea of life having no fixed purpose, your viewpoint sees purpose as fundamental. Your point about life being valuable, unique, and evolutionary aligns with the idea that the diversity and complexity of life itself might inherently suggest a purpose. It's a valid viewpoint that highlights the interconnectedness of different perspectives on this topic. Ultimately, these discussions enrich our understanding by showcasing the diversity of human thought and interpretation. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and inviting us to consider different angles of this philosophical conversation! 🌍✨
Life has a functional cyclic purpose as like the creation and destruction of Infinite universes and it has a spiritual purpose for the mind that can walk the path as the Buddha gave the essence of his teachings ; “do good, avoid evil and tame your mind “ this is the purpose of life
This sounds good until you realize that you have pay rent and buy food. This is how is define what is life's purpose. As a biological species our purpose is to survive and multiply. As individual humans, we can create and define our own purpose. As a collective, our purpose should be to leave this planet and everything on it better than we found it. Accepting this universal purpose would ensure the survivor of the collective which will facilitate the survivor of the individuals leaving them free to pursue their own goals.
Still you are grasping. Nobody’s saying to retreat from the world. But as you work to pay rent, just work. Rent will come from the work whether you are attached or not. The only thing you need to do is be fully present in flow with nature/ the Tao/ the Dharma.
@miguelrosado7649 You've raised an interesting perspective! Indeed, the practical aspects of life often involve meeting basic needs like shelter and sustenance. Osho's view on life's purpose, while philosophical, doesn't necessarily negate the need to fulfill these requirements. It's true that as a biological species, survival and propagation are inherent purposes. And on an individual level, defining one's purpose is a personal journey that can bring fulfillment. Your notion of a collective purpose aligned with improving the world for future generations is thought-provoking. This interconnected approach could harmonize both individual and collective aspirations, fostering a balance between personal goals and contributing positively to society. Thank you for sharing these insightful thoughts! 🌍🌱
@grasje1 Well said! Your response beautifully captures the essence of being present in the moment and aligning with the natural flow of life. The idea of letting go of attachment and embracing the present moment can indeed lead to a more fulfilling and harmonious experience, both in work and life. This approach, rooted in spiritual philosophies, emphasizes the importance of mindfulness and detachment while engaging with the world around us. It's a valuable reminder to find balance between our responsibilities and our inner sense of peace. Thank you for sharing this insightful perspective! 🌟🕊️
I think by saying " life ha no goal " , it means that we donot have any rigid, fixed purpose or goal in life. There can be various changing goals with time, which are very transient in nature ,, giving alignment to your present self. These transient goals are only to make present more perfect
PS. I was so glad when this guy was deported from the US in 1985 for his criminal activity. He changed his name to cover his tracks, and his few followers today still haven't woken up from his con - or maybe they are trying to find a way to build a huge Rolls Royce collection themselves. Whatever insights he peddled, were from some parts of Vedic thoughts regarding spirituality and the temporary drama of this world - but he twisted it all to suit his own goals of fame, fortune, and sexual fantasies - just like so many bogus gurus and priests found in the East and West.
