- It's not a "foot move" the back foot is reacting to what the rear hip and core are doing from both a directional and strength aspect. Simply spinning on the back foot is not optimal for power and path in the swing.

YASSSS! I’ve been waiting for this video. My 12u player (floating back foot) came to baseball from Taekwondo 4 years ago and completely forgot how to generate power from his hips. This will hopefully help him with his plate confidence.
