- Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim has urged the government to suspend the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) chief executive pending investigations into the company.
During today’s parliamentary debate, the veteran lawmaker urged Human Resources Minister Steven Sim to act urgently.
“Either suspend him or terminate the management, which is the CEO. This is because he holds two positions: on the board of directors and the investment panel,” he stated.

The money trails are easily audited and investigated. The issue is whether MACC will do a good investigation job and that the prosecution will also do a good job and no political protection or interferences. This is a OPEN and SHUT case.

As a malaysian im so proud that malaysia is at least good at SOMETHING! We r moving up in terms of stealing funds and corruption. Think positively guys, any news is good news and other countries will at least know where we are, instead of just being the country next to Singapore.
Also, when the country becomes even poorer than burma or cambodia, this will open up job opportunities for the malays to work abroad as domectic helpers or cleaners. Well done HRD corp and well done Malaysia
Another govt agency that has deviated from its original purpose is RISDA. They are supposed to focus on development of rubber industry but their own rubber plantations had long been chopped off and replaced with oil palm instead. The agency seems to be more active in program bantuan usahawan in businesses instead of pembagunan industry getah. There are many other experts in businesses but no Risda wants to get involved too, giving away grants not loans to hundreds of thousands of people. Ministers should come and see how pathetic the progress of Lembaga Getah Malaysia's own plantations and research centre in Kedah too.

Itulah sebabnya DSAI membenarkan 2 bilion dana pembangunan, dengan ini, tiada jumlah dana akan menyelamatkannya, semuanya akan hilang, apabila mana-mana entiti kerajaan mempunyai SUB, pajakan dan biarkan, ia hanya memberitahu kami betapa baiknya pengurusan adalah, bahawa mereka tidak boleh untuk kerja
