- La campanella, ( Italian: “The Little Bell”) byname of Allegro spiritoso (Rondo alla campanella) or Ronde à la clochette, final movement of the Violin Concerto No. 2 in B Minor, Op. 7, by Italian composer and violinist Niccolò Paganini, renowned for its intricate and technically demanding solo passages and for the bell-like effects featured in both the solo and orchestral parts. The movement derives its nickname from those bell-like sounds, which evoke the imagery of the Italian folk song-also known as “La campanella”-upon which the movement is based.

The Liszt version of la Campanella on the piano sounds so much more aggressive loud but the original Paganini version almost sounds happy and light.

I've been playing violin off and on for the last 30 years and there's no conceivable way I could ever play Pagnini, much less this piece.
When practicing 2 hours everyday for some years, you will be able to play Paganini at least for your private pleasure.

This iteration of the timeless classic as interpreted by David Garrett is the best I have ever heard, and I have listened to dozens of different recordings of this song. This just sends what is already an excellent piece to a completely higher level. Rather shocked it has so few views in comparison to some of the lesser works with higher counts.
