I bought a F44 some time ago and have just watched this video and its fired me up to go and use it . Thanks !!
Good luck kevin!
Thanks for posting this video! I just bought this metal detector and still learning how to use it. So far I've been successful finding things in my backyard.
Two years later...
Had this machine, of yourself , a while now can only agree with all you’ve said plus it keeps surprising me at the depth it can go and it’s ability to identify small objects. Great video
Thanks for watching mate
Ive had a fisher f22 for 3 years what a machine ive found many coins at every depth its a pleasure to use a great purchase and it just keeps on delivering
Great review and demonstration of the F44 Graeme!
Thank you my friends! Hope you are both well!!
Great depth test and great video I have a fisher f44 I love it I've been discriminating iron this whole time I think I'm going to try the f44 with iron on.
Hey Graeme, again a great video , that seems to be quite a nice detector . It seems pretty simple to use and the fact that it's weather resistant is a big plus. Also i want to say I really appreciate your video style (not using all the giant crazy bright letters and crazy titles with 20 exclamation points !!! ) that others use. Great work !
Many thanks for watching and also the kind words mate
Very nice machine Graeme. I think you’re going to sell a good few of those, thanks for a great demo. ATB from Norfolk.
They are a very cool machine Richard, thanks for watching.
Cant go wrong with a fisher mate, As you know i have the F75se. The F44 is a great machine, I think i would be doing it an injustice calling it a beginners machine graeme, For the money it is a steal really.!
And waterproof too.! Enough said.
Great demo and review mate.Always nice to finish work and watch an unearthed show.!👍😉
Thanks for the comments dave!
This is the second F44 review I've watched Graeme and was the best by far!
thanks jerry
Thanks for watching everyone.
Hi Graeme, what is the price of F44 and how to order it?
Bang on interesting review for us all as always Graeme... That test bed of yours certainly 'notches out' head-scratching for customers with questions or uncertainties concerning performance in the field, and effectiveness of the features of respective M D's on test... I'd also venture to say that amongst its many features the Unearthed test field also boasts the mode that helps 'discriminate out' most unwanted 'tyre kickers' as well ! What better than to buy from a business that has its very own test track to trial the machines it has on offer, in full view of its prospective customer audience. It provides a more than fair, concise understanding,. of exactly what customers will get for their money....Can't be fairer than that....Go with the tones... Nice one altogether I reckon.
Very kind comments tim!
@@unearthed-detecting-tv Credit where credit is due my friend. I won't mention names; I don't hold with back- bitching : however, not every business is on the same 'level ground', in some respects, shall we say.
@@timrogers2045 I hear what you are saying mate
thanks for the video! Good learning!
Thanks for watching sir and feel free to subscribe to the channel ,you will enjoy it
@@unearthed-detecting-tv will do :)
@RbL20 very kind of you
The Nel Tornado coil is killer on this machine
Good review Graeme looks a really good machine especially for that money. HH ATB Paul.
Cheers for watching Paul, have a great week mate!
Looks like a nice machine!
My Sister and I both have F44's really easy to use and the iron audio with vco and 4 different tone's make's it a pleasure to use.

Many thanks for watching! Good luck with the f44 out in the fields
That looks like a really good machine
Very capable detector steve
Hi Graeme , looks a nice piece of kit as you would expect from First Texas , and as you say ticks the main boxes and performs well , as you said to me before simple is the way forward , some of the so called must have machines have to many functions whistles and bells need a degree in bloody science for some of them LOL , i think i will stick with what I've got , nice one mate you take care ATB Rob .
Always stick with what you enjoy and do the business with I say my friend! A good Metal detector it is!
How is it in high EMF areas? Such as power lines etc
Hi Neil, If you see where I was detecting there are power lines and a junction box overhead! Very stable machine
I bought this for my GF, but I like using it. It does have the power and super light
Yes, it is a little short for me at 6'2"
You can get longer lower stems now!
Great video, thank you.
I used to do metal detecting in the late 80's / early 90's. I had a Fisher 1265x, which I loved. I'm thinking of getting back into metal detecting, but I know nothing about current detecting technology. Would the F44 be a good detector to start with? I want something that has good performance at a reasonable price, but not top of the range. I will mainly be doing detecting on beaches.
Hi david, the detecting game has moved on considerably, you will need a multi frequency detector to get decent performance from the beaches, are you uk based?
@@unearthed-detecting-tv Yes. I'm relocating to the Suffolk coast, so I'm thinking of spending some time on the Suffolk beaches.
Which detector would you recommend?
@@calvertphoto vanquish 440 sir, perfectly suited to land and beach, much better than single frequency detectors, if you want to give me a call i can help you with a deal on one
Another good video Graeme, how much does it cost and can you use it in a stream. Also has it got a salt mode. TIA
They are coming in at £349 with added accessories and you can ground balance on the sand too, however lower the sensitivity down a little
I am looking for a not to expensive 2nd detector for myself and something my 8 year old grandson can use on the school holidays. I will look further into buying one of these when I come back of my hols
@@petersheldon8397 as you can see they tick a lot of boxes Peter
Were are you situated?
@@petersheldon8397 we are based near the lake district but ship to all areas of the uk, no messing and no hassle, 24 hours!
Sir can you tell me its range how for it can search things under the earh?
all depends on the object soze sir
As a beginner who hasn't bought a metal detector yet, ive always fancied the Fisher F22, but what would you suggest out of the Fisher F44 or Nakto Makro Simplex+? Both are waterproof and look good. Im unsure.
Are you uk based or usa?
@@unearthed-detecting-tv Im up in Scotland.
@reflux043 ignore the two you mention as decent as they are and head to the minelab x terra pro, brilliant detectors they are, check my website out for one www.uneartheduk.co.uk and thank me later 💥
@@unearthed-detecting-tv Thanks, i'll check it out.
One last thing, is there any metal detecting apps worth getting? I currently just have c:geo for geocaching. Its good just as a walking gps map on its own.
The numbers with the 11 inch DD coil are not nearly as stable as they are with the teardrop concentric coil.
go by tones, numbers are just a secondary function
How do you feel about the handle? Do you think it has to be modified? I an almost sold on it.
Its ok, I prefer the G2+ type handle t be honest
What is better Fischer f44 or garret 400i?
F44 in my opinion
@@unearthed-detecting-tv fisher f44 vs teknetics patriot? help
Nice machine. Does it have a headphones socket?
Yes bottom left of the control box, with a waterproof rubber cover.
Yes sorry my fault i should have shown it

@@unearthed-detecting-tv 😆
Nice demo. What is the depth bro
Decent for coins and artefacts
@@unearthed-detecting-tv I am searching detector which is able to detect the objects burried 3feet deep or more in earth. Is this detector is suitable for my requirement?
Will it find gold?
Yes frank
Good👍👍👍
Thank you!
This machine or vanquish 540 please.
Where are you based peter
