Love Victoria Monet. I love the video. You can tell she takes pride in her Black-American culture and roots, especially her southern Black-American roots.
“She’s not Black! She’s mixed!” Lol where are those insufferable chronically online ppl at? 💀 So proud and happy to see this beautiful multiracial BLACK woman persevere and rise to the level she’s always deserved to be seen at after yearsss of writing hits for and lending her sauce to other artists like Ariana Grande. She didn’t stop after having a baby, she said BET 😂👏🏽 She is wonderfully in her 30s which also adds to the truth that success can b met at any age with determination and self belief. On My Mama is a damn gift of a BOP that empowers us as women when we too feel blue, that music video was a beautiful display of Black culture and A1 performance, and the production on your records have BEEN gorgeous. I’m just glad that people everywhere can see it now because it is rare when Black authentically skilled artists and performers are recognized and given their flowers rather than pushed into obscurity. Congrats Victoria! 💐
@@AmericanKing00 no it doesn’t. non Blk Americans ain’t the ones whove been making threads the past 4 years about biracial Blk women “not being black” but “mixed” lol. that’s funny tho!
@@SupernaturalLove100 yes, it is non Black Americans...Black Americans wasn't telling Malcolm X or Alicia Keys they're not Black..many more of our people who are half...If you're a apart of the Black American ethnic group, but half? We called them Black!
Supernaturallove100 last time I checced she was blac I am mixed 🇵🇦 &🇺🇲 & I can speak on this I consider myself blac cause that is how the world perceives me maybe even for her too that African gene can dilute or cancel any other race & that shows with us not saying I don't or we as in ( mixed people) don't embrace all of us or pic a side cause some of us do it just saying we are proud to be included in both spaces
It’s just wasn’t her time then when that group got dropped 4:50 God had something better for her and look at her flourishing. Meeting all expectations 11:17
Yes! Thank God she kept going, huh?! Many people would’ve felt discouraged and maybe opted for a different route. She’s 34 and has found this level of success for the first time which emphasizes the truth that life does not end nor does the possibility for success for a woman in her 30s despite the lies ageism and or misogyny tells us. She persevered and triumphed. All that after a baby and postpartum depression apparently. It’s a beautiful success story really. Taraji P Henson had a similar one. 💛💐

She's a new artist making her mark, but will she last bc social media has its effect. I like her ideas...we only have one life to live.

✌️ 2 Chalie boy long overdue for being the architect of this song without his sample this song would be a dud
WTF
Eu sou o primeiro a comentar brasil 🎉
She is not 34😂
Song is about motherhood? Lol
….read the lyrics. And listen to what she said. She wasn’t feeling great and it’s what she needed to hear.
The title clearly says it’s a TRIBUTE to motherhood. Did you even listen to what she said in the interview? Smh
She was going through PPD and wasn’t feeling herself so yes, it is a song about motherhood
