Hi Scott, thanks for welcoming me to the fold. I have a vitesse convertible restoration on the go at the moment, i have been struggling to to keep the project moving along i to have had issues to over the last year but like you have made a good posative start to the new year. I am an ex panel beater and paint sprayer ,so if i can be of any help just ask.cheers Ian.
Hey no worries, I know what you mean, too many other things need our attention eh! Hey the only thing I ask is that you don't laugh to loud at my bodywork LOL My thing is oily bits and welding so the bodywork is a big learning process, always happy to receive tips & tricks. Ian pick up a camera and get filming mate, we'd all like to see your project. Cheers Scott
Hi Jeffrey, yep I find it controls the dust a bit better, my garage is so small I end up with dust on all the ledges that wants to fall out when I paint, Haha, cheers
Oh thank you big bro, haha nearly run out of hats, Mary, my dear old Mum and me are going to some charity shops at the week-end to stock up, or maybe something a bit different? hehehe
Hi scott i think your welding and fabriction of repair panels is excelent, the making of repair panels is something i have not had a lot of experience in, i have picked up a few tips from you. i can see that you are making good progress on the filling and shaping and seem to be improving all the time, this is a process that takes time and practice to perfect. Anyway thats all from me keep up the good work mate.cheers Ian.
Thanks for the kind words, yep I guess where i'm so used to whacking metal and stuff, I'm learning the finesse plus knowing when to stop sanding! Haha,
The hardest thing when a project has been on the back burner is just starting back at it so you have crossed that threshold you are back on the journey!!!
Good to see you back in the garage. I need to get back on the chevelle, life just gets in the way of the important things lol ;) Please say hi to the wife for me :D
Hi Ian, thanks very much for stopping by and taking the time to comment and subscribe, yes it certainly was about time to get back to it and get on and finish my Triumph - much more to come, cheers Scott
Like the hats :-D, the knitted ones look warm. Im no expert, but isnt sanding most of the primer/filler off the car to the floor the correct way lol, the thickness left on must be thinner than a flys left bollock :-D.
Hi Sean, apparently it's great at getting the greasey finger prints off and raising the dirt/grit off the panel when you wipe it, for me, its super cheap and not messy. Cheers
Hi Scott. I personally hate the painting thing, so that side of the restoration is outsourced. What is with you and hats? Is that a new ism. I also have a sixpence, but i dont feel old enough to wear it yet:-) Anyway it's nice to see that Vincent still is around.

It is good to see you back at it. I like the idea of using a soft brush to move the dust instead of compressed air.
Hi Jeffrey, yep I find it controls the dust a bit better, my garage is so small I end up with dust on all the ledges that wants to fall out when I paint, Haha, cheers
I have waited eagerly to see you and Vincent playing together again! Woo Hoo! LOVE your hat show my Dozy brother!
