A ballet flat or classic loafer would look beautiful with your wardrobe! I especially love the nude Chanel ballet flats. So classic and timeless!
I was thinking of Stuart Weizmann loafers when Lydia was trying to think of footwear for her outfits. They are my comfortable favorites with tights and dresses.

oh my gosh i think porter would be scared by the way you spoke to him .. I find that speaking in a gentle voice and then giving lots of praise is the best way to train a dog .. that’s how we trained our little fur baby and he learned so quickly
I agree about organizing at 23:30!! I can tolerate a disorganized mess for only so long but once I decide I’ve had enough, I can’t focus on anything else other than the task of cleaning and organizing! I did that all day even though I’ve been horribly sick, and also cramping really bad on top of that. But I couldn’t rest and relax until I had organized the huge mess in my room 😂
I have to agree with you when it comes to being a better version of yourself, lots of times people are not for us and we are not for them. But, thanks to age, we learn, grow, we are more confident, which in turn gives us peace.

Birdies makes these slippers that don’t look like slippers. Like loafers/ballet flats. They’re warm and cozy. Meant for the hostess who likes to be dressed up but comfortable.
I saw that F&M hamper and I thought "perfect egg storage", for when you get your chickens!
As for house shoes, I have ballet flats that I use indoors, especially for Christmas, or other house party kind of things. If you're not keen on rounded toes, go for pointy toes. A lot of Danes have wooden floors, and a lot (us included) aren't keen on shoes indoors, especially heels - so ballet flats are brilliant for that.

In order to have the bed fresh we should take the duvet and pillows out on fresh air( when dry weather) and allow the mattress and bed sheet to dry and air. Leaving the duvet on the mattress is the worst thing possible.No mist will help.
Yep! Making the bed isn't always a good thing, the sheets need to air out.

I live and work in the Champagne industry, and I confirm you do prounonce the "T" of Moët even when it's alone. In fact, in Reims and Epernay we never say Moët et Chandon, always just Moët (moète 😉)
Moët is Dutch rather than French - that's why the 't' is pronounced
I feel like you were speaking to me in this vlog, especially at the end about making changes. You are absolutely glowing and it's great to see someone else successful making changes and feeling great.
I also can totally relate to not organizing as I go and taking a day to organize. I thought I was the only one who would cancel plans when I planned a day to tidy, and I feel so guilty about it. It's nice to hear perspective that you planned your day and stuck to what you wanted. I am going to try to think about what I want more often.

Have you tried sock booties for your shoe debacle? They can be rather elegant, and very slimming and elongating on the leg. The right one would look great with midi length dresses, in my opinion!
Love your kitchen. I could quite happily live in there ☺️ I always pull the duvet back & let the bed have a good airing each morning. It helps remove moisture from the sheets & mattress & reduces the number of dust mites 😊 Love Porter 🥰 🐾
I really enjoyed this vlog. I can only cope with things being in the wrong place for a short amount of time and I love putting it all back into order and having a good clean. It looks like a perfect day spent to me especially with a dog walk and a fire. I would only change one thing and it's baking a cake instead to have with a cup of tea next to the fire after the walk x

I know it’s not entirely your aesthetic but do try Clark’s knee length suede boots, they give a lighter less harsh look with outfits and are so comfortable, I purchased 3 pairs last year and they absolutely go with everything,they have an almond shape toe ….perfect.

Suggestion I read somewhere. If you don't make the bed right away turn down your comforter/duvet and air out your bed for awhile. I also like to brush and pull the bottom sheet taut. Feels somehow better at bedtime. Fresh. 💓💓
I can see my 4 kids in your house! That would be a day of spring clean!🤣The washing machine would be 24/7, the ironing baskets would be overflowing and I would be sorting freshly ironed clothes between all the rooms and then cooking a big dinner, hoping none of them brought a sickness bug from school. I actually only started watching your videos since lockdown and the difference in your videos from now and just over a year ago is wild. Lydia 2021 > Lydia 2020. You seem so much brighter and lighter which is kind of like my transition recently! Just over a year ago I had the worst break up, after 7 years, I had major money problems from trying to afford to live in a house that before was being paid for by two people and my fur baby was very poorly. But one day I just woke up and figured, everything does happen for a reason. As sad as I was a year ago, that break up was the best thing that could have happened for me. Im so much stronger and happier now and I’m so glad you are too!!

Last weeks vlog was a travel vlog and was truly magical to watch. Summer time vlogs are full of home & gardening with a fashion element incorporated without it being an "unboxing" so-to-speak. There was a travel getaway vlog posted a few weeks ago and was absolutely lovely to watch. There is an abundant vlogs posted of gorgeous home decor and styling thereof, etc. Yes, there is a lot of unboxing although this is Lydia's job and for me (and I'm sure others), I love it all because I enjoy the actual content being unboxed and what the end results are. How you personally feel is fine (thats your opinion). Not all youtubers need to be doing the same thing simultaneously based on your description of what is suitable content. Let's remember the world we live in, "time" is the most precious thing we have and is never forgiving. You may want to spend your time on things that make you happy.

Fortnum’s does fig jam - and you can get on Amazon too - we used to have a little old greek lady that mades some for us from her own fig tree - it’s stunning

Lydia, the first pair of ankle boots cuts your leg, meaning make your leg shorter…they are too long/tall if you know what I mean. They are great quality but do not make you stand out. Don’t keep them. As usual, Im in love with your hair and skin.💖🥰

It’s not the boots that’s wrong, it’s the length of the dress which is making you unsure , with the ankle boots the dress should be shorter or much longer ,when you put the full length boots on ,the dress looked perfect with the boots , of course I’m no expert but from a person that love fashion it’s how I see it .
This video really resonated with me. It’s a Sunday afternoon and I’ve been reorganising and decluttering all day to make better use of my space. I feel much better for it too! I’m glad I’m not the only one that moves everything into one room! 😁
All the boots are nice, but have you tried mid-calf height, (not knee) versus the low ankle ones you are trying in the haul? They are a good option when knee is too tall and ankle is too low. Good luck.

Not a fan of the boots. I’m surprised you don’t look at the Hermès Ankle boots with the Kelly buckle. They would match your belts/bags so well.

Hi Lydia knee high boots look great with dresses but I also find ankle boots that sit underneath the ankle look great too! So flattering, they can slim and lengthen legs.

That is one absolutely MASSIVE cutting board. Why don’t you just consider replacing the center island countertop with butcher block top?? That way you don’t have a massive cutting board always out on your countertop.

Love the dress and the hair! Do you have a fig tree? Once you get one, you'll love it. The leather booties are a bit clunky and not sleek enough. Hermes, Chanel and Stuart Weitzman make a nice bootie.
