Thank you for the review - I'm glad you addressed the common misconception that passion is cultivated rather than it being something you find all of a sudden!

+OnePercentBetter Thanks, yeah that's always been a constant debate. Especially with the reasoning "You should do what you are passionate about because you don't need motivation to work at what you love" as popularized by Steve Jobs. Even though that's correct, I think a lot of people don't realize that we become more passionate for something once we are good at it.

Sir How can I apply that principle in my situation as the only Bass Soprano in the world......they just keep ignoring it, at first they are trying to disprove it but I have a hundred songs to prove my claim....so if they cant disprove it.....they just ignore it.....They are all dead silence..even my Singing challenge ofcourse they cannot sing it......even it has a 10k prize on it...they just ignoring it....as if that is a normal thing......

Passion is not discovered, it is developed over time instead. Passion is developed. It is not necessary that if you are interested in something is now your passion. When we develop skills in a particular craft, we begin to enjoy it, and this helps developing passion.

But are you going to do something that is not interesting ? What makes you get good at that thing ? To only do it because you are kind of forced to do it because i think that if you are not interested in something then why would you do it that is unless you are employed or have to do that particular thing to get paid or get something out of it you start enjoying that activity because you might be able to get done with it faster…
I just think that if you do not have interest in something then you will not do it unless you get something out of it and its not the feeling of doing that thing but rather material

I'm pretty sure that, if you read the biography of Steve Jobs, you will see his passion in a different light. And it was most certainly not by chance, that he got into the business of technology.

+Johnny Mojn Oh, I haven't read that yet. I got the example of Steve Jobs directly from this book. I will probably read it soon. I've started enjoying autobiographies, and biographies, after reading sam walton and elon musk
