Almost no one could play like that like Tommy Bolin is playing here back when this was recorded. When Tommy was sober and playing with all pistons he was the best.
Tommy Bolin, what an outstanding, amazing guitarplayer. His work in Purple was great as well, not that much live but studio like at 'Come taste the band'
omg. Thank you so much for responding! Of course you are right. I saw Mr. Lenny White at Blues Alley in DC last year and he played the DC jazz fest this year. incredible! Thank you for setting the bar so high. I will keep listening and practicing.
Incrivel essa harmonia e essa mistura de delicadeza e agressividade entre alphonso e bolin, valeu por fazer essa tarde vazia se preencher de alegria, valeu o dia Brô. fui.......................................................
mr. mouzon. I love your playing. just outstanding. please share your relationship with billy cobham and tony Williams professionally, etc. in terms of playing, influence, etc.
Blackmore praised him, his preceder in Purple, a lot. He took toouvh drugs. A sad story. But if he won't play in Purple he never get that name.. Personally I wouldn't know him for years...
Tommy was everything I love about guitar. What a massive talent!
THANKS MAN!!I had fun recording this with Tommy Bolin. TenaciousRecords.comm

Es simplemente, mas que valioso, seria justo que Tommy Bolin sea valorado como lo merece
y que el mundo de la musica lo ubique en su justo lugar.
I have this album bough it at a record store in Boulder Colorado on the hill. the whole LP is fantastic!

Thank you for sharing exactly what i needed
Tommy Bolin unsung legend from the 70".... Deep Purple did him no favours.
true about Purple and neither did James Gang-at least to my ears. cobham, zephyr, mouzon and his own band were outstanding tho.
+redshaftedflicker True, but "Bang" is a great album.
Blackmore praised him, his preceder in Purple, a lot. He took toouvh drugs. A sad story. But if he won't play in Purple he never get that name.. Personally I wouldn't know him for years...
Great! x )
RIP Alphonse ❤️
Oh Yeah!
You forgot drummer Lenny White! We 4 were the premier fusion drumming pioneers!! I was and Lenny was also influenced by Tony Williams!
It should be called a gem ,not a jam.
where is this from, sick upload!
Is there any live recordings of Tommy and Alphonse Mouzon?
Probably not, I don't think they ever did a show together.
This is NASTY! and Lenny White's Astral Pirates is one of my all time favorite musical journeys!
Lee Ritenour's music is great to. Jay Graydon too
keith
Alphonse Mouzon record is much better than Billy Cobham's.
