  • Meghan’s talk explores the challenges girls and women experience today on the path to STEM careers. She reflects on her personal journey from an aspiring singer to an actuary and technology leader, and offers a research-based path forward to inspire each of us to make a difference. Meghan Goldfarb is an extraverted actuary and technology leader with a passion for solving impossible problems with data and technology. She is also a wife and a mother to 3, and enjoys sewing, singing and gardening. She is very passionate about increasing the number of women and other under-represented populations in STEM careers, and actively volunteers to make the path easier for others.
    Meghan received her B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Millikin University, MBA from Indiana University, and M.S. in Business Analytics from Indiana University. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, holds her AWS Certified Machine Learning Speciality and is a Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics.
