- On June 10, 2023, Janet Jackson performed the opening concert of the Hollywood Bowl Summer Season. As such, the Bowl really turnt up the celebration with this unexpected (at least to me) fireworks extravaganza. What a phenomenal evening this was!!!
I was there. MAN, this was insane!!! We were screaming our heads off. Janet Jackson killed it!!🔥🔥🔥

I feel so fortunate to have been at this show! The Rhythm Nation fireworks show through the entire show made my jaw drop. Literally! They just kept coming!

Out of all the concerts this one was such phenomenal i was there!! Watching a icon do it at age 57 and still got it.

I was so happy to be there I was R2 Row 4 Seat 32, it was an amazing night
I was in the terrace 6 section. Man, what a spectacular night! I had the best time. Forgive my cursing at the end of the video but I was definitely in the moment. Lol.

I was sitting in terrace box seats (Terrace 6) which was far enough back to use my phone’s wide lens to capture all of the fireworks. What a show! I’m still beaming from ear to ear!

She doesn't really do Pyro like she used to because during the Rockwitchu Tour the Pyros went off pretty much on her face. It scared me just watching it so I know she was scared.

Actually the fireworks were part of the celebration that this was the opening date of the Hollywood Bowl summer season.
I literally watched this at least 20 times now lol, I saw her in Allentown, PA for this tour, Rhythm Nation is like one of my favorite performances of hers to watch because of the dancing, but Jesus these fireworks were on point that i didnt pay attention to her at all during this song. They were so perfectly timed with the song. I am obsessed. I hope Janet got to see how cool they were. thank you for sharing! also what kind of phone you were shooting with? it's great for the fireworks, you can see all the colors and clarity. it's visually stunning. I dont even need to see fireworks for the 4th now hahah this made my holiday! and you ended it great " Janet F'n Jackson" for sure!!! she is such an amazing person/artist.

Dla mnie to bzdura pokazywanie sztucznych ogni podczas występu. Przecież uwaga ma się skupiać na wykonawczyni a nie na sztucznych ogniach? Sztuczne ognie sam sobie mogę wystrzelić. Czyżby chcieli żeby show było bardziej spektakularne? Czyżby Janet Jackson już samą sobą nie może przykuć uwagi a muszą to być sztuczne ognie? Czyżby już koncerty Janet Jackson były słabe? Oby nie.

Lol. This was the opening night of Hollywood Bowl’s summer season, so there were a lot of longtime subscribers in attendance. And those monied subscribers in the front paid a to of money to just sit there. Go figure. 😂
And this also was once instance in which sitting so close was not necessarily a benefit, at least not at this portion of the show. They couldn’t see the full effect of the fireworks.

FYI, the reason for the fireworks was this was the opening concert for the Hollywood Bowl summer season and they went in with the fireworks.
Also she was almost injured on Rockwitchu Tour and Pyros almost exploded in her face during Pleasure Principle intro. After that she hasn't really done big pyros...up until now. And these ones are behind her, nowhere near the stage.
