After three months living and working remotely from Spain, I’m on holiday for 2.5 weeks! First, I visited the beautiful islands of Mallorca and Menorca, and now I’m off to visit the absolutely STUNNING little country of Andorra, tucked between the Spanish and French border (plus a side trip to France and Portugal…).

Yes!! Andorra is a wonderful country for solo travel :)
I loved Andorra but only had time for a drive through. I understand your feelings. I react the same way to beauty and nature. You could spend several days and not see everything. Gasoline was cheaper compared to most of Europe, about 0.20 Euros cheaper per liter. The drive across the mountains from France is spectacular. I regret that I did not schedule more time for exploration. Yes, Andorra is a principality co-run by the President of France and a Bishop in Spain. I like Toulouse, very beautiful. You showed the steeple of Saint Sernin which was my main reason to visit there. It contains one of the best Cavaille-Coll organs in France. Too bad you did not have more time to spend there. The pink city with all the bricks.

What hostels and hotels did you stay at? Would you recommend staying in Andorra la Vela and doing day trips to these other places? :)
Hi!! Yes so you would definitely want to stay in Andorra la Vela, the country is so small anyway it’s the perfect base to get everywhere. I stayed at the (only?) hostel in the city - Alberg els Andes - and it was totally fine.
