Curious if anyone else has tried the basic RB minigame? If you stay close to your blocker until he makes contact with the first defender, you can just sprint to the corner of the endzone. The safety can't get there in time. Movement isn't good. Defenders are agile when the ball is in the air, and when the carrier is around or behind the LoS, but once the ball carrier is in the open field, defenders get slow and clumsy. I really hope they fix this.
was kinda mad Ja'Kobi Lane wasn't in the game. I will say since you brought it up he will be in the game soon he's friends with my little sister they went to YMCA together from like 11 up out her in Arizona i asked him not going to explain why but he said they're supposed to do a update and add him
My only really complaint with the game is o lineman blocking either they run past a dude or don’t even touch a pass rushing but the gameplay is really well also just off what he said about running the ball being really op that’s how it is in college so I like it that way.
the thing that really bugs me is no pc release. i dont have a new gen console but i got a bunch of friends that do, i wish i could play this game with them when ive been playing NCAA 14 for a literal decade. but from what ive seen, it looks like hit stick on def got badly nerfed, like you cant predict hit stick a ball carrier you kinda have to react and KNOW you gonna hit the guy before you hit stick, that may be why ppl are finding tackling harder. but again i cant get my hands on the game so idk. just wish i could play lol
Ill say EA had 3 years to work on cfb25 and we got a decent game. Moving forward it will be a 9 month cycle. So if they worked on this for 3 years and we got a decent game how much can it improve year after year. I hope im wrong i want CFB to be great on both sides of the ball
My biggest issue is the game does not allow the use of alternative or custom playbooks in H2H. This is a big deal for me because i like to create my own playbook/scheme and compete with it. Im really hoping its just a bug or beta oversight and will be changed on the day 1 patch Friday.
@Keem.Klutch Two points to make about that: 1) this game was touted as a game for what the core fan base of SIM football want. So why are they making decisions based on what they "want" in this instance? 2) custom playbooks only add to variety, not negate it. Moreover. A meta will still form around peculiar teams with peculiar playbooks. They cannot void the problem.
The pursuit angles are pretty bad, feel like they need to adjust the AI.
i felt they were good, maybe you just dont know understand angles
Nah I think they could’ve been better, maybe they’re not bad. I think the reaction is bad. Like you can run right a player and they won’t tackle them.
@@DaWavy1 I’ve been playing a lot and the angles are great. You can’t be holding R2, just like in real life when playing football.
I feel the complete opposite. It does take a while to get used to it tho
The pursuit angles are terrible he’s right

Yeah good point. You should put this up on operation sports forum.

I was actually extremely disappointed at that. I’m not sure if he’ll be added in later updates but I hated that too
The passing is alright I be throwing duck sometime I can’t
Lie I see where I coming from
It’s so much better with the precision passing honestly
@@DaWavy1 made the switch last night its night n day
Also feel like AI blocking is garbage they need to add a adaptive AI blocking engine
Yea I agree, but it works well when you’re going against an offense
Yeah its like madden they don't block
The Frostbite Engine is the problem.
I totally agree with you
It's trash, ragdoll game physics. It's been trash since its inception.

Agreed, definitely annoying 😂
Have no problem with the run I play msstate I use cover shells and 3-4 defense get alit interceptions too
I’m going to try that but at the time I’m getting cooked
I play on Heisman, and i love the game.
I ain’t say it bad, I think it’s some things that could be improved
@@DaWavy1yeah
College is a offensive game bro don't compare it to madden or the nfl smh and I played the game and there is some defense u gotta get better

Yes I hate that PC either don’t have games or get them late 😂😂
#1 Left bumper while in pursuit will help you when tackling.
#2 If you don’t like revamped passing, then change it to classic passing in settings
What do you think about the revamped passing?
There is a tackle button if on Xbox instead of hitting X hit A it wraps up
I’ll try that. I wasn’t aware of that.

I.
Can't wait to get the game on July 19th.
I hate that they separated the days kinda
U want passes to be perfect just because u want it to go exactly how u want huh u think quarterback in real life don't want perfect passes every time

They said road to cfb you can’t change playbooks because they want variety in play styles. But u can use any playbook for your CUT squad

I need them to fix that honestly. I can’t even play how I want too
@@DaWavy1exactly
On the players who arnt in yet I get why it sucks but we just gotta give em time getting over 11 thousand alone is a big feat to accomplish
I’ll give it a B-. Gets old after awhile and they made defense too hard. Still happy it came out
Defense way too hard, I can’t stop nothing ever
you mean like actually college football lol
@@DaWavy1You guys ever watch CFB? 😂
@@postverifiedlifestyle I do whats your point?
@@travisoshea Teams have been clamped week in and week out. Theres a problem if nothing can be stopped
