Thank you, Tom, I found this video very informative, I come from a Python background so I find that all of the functionality introduced in this video between Python and Julia overlap but the syntax is quite different. Is there a "cheat sheet" you can recommend to bridge the two? Thanks!
Tom - thank you for the wonderful video! I don't know if you remember me, we worked together about 17 years ago! Hope all is well, and thank you again for sharing your experience
@@tomkwong7098 Tom, this explanation was a game changer for me. I haven't coded in years but your explanations were so clear that I've been wrangling with stock data all week and I don't feel the time pass at all!
@@tomkwong7098 Sure. I am just in 30-40%, currently studying about holytrait design patter :p . Soon will share some feedback when I understand all of it. I am currently struggling in design pattern part but probably thats my problem and it need more time to understand.
I'm really enjoying reading your book! I've never seen such a dense book ever in julia
Thanks. I didn't mean to make it so dense at the beginning... lol.
I think that this video helps a lot and your book is great too. Thanks and go on with the good work!!
Your book is very helpful! A very good book about Julia. Thanks!
Gracias, Tom. Excelente video. Claro, útil.

@@andresjvazquez Oh, that's great to hear. Now that 6 months have passed and you must be wrangling data better than me!
Nice Cheat sheet
Thanks Tom, Just got your book I must say that is the Most Conceptual book of Julia So far but also need some slight adjustment.
That's great to hear. I would be delighted to hear some feedbacks. You can find me on the Julia Slack or Discord.
