Let's setup my N1 ‪@SterlingInk‬ horizontal booklet with a ‪@MandyLynnPlans‬ booklet. This is my Just Scribble insert in my Standard travelers notebook setup. I'm still new to this insert (just three weeks in) and new to this kit too. But I think the spread turned out cute and functional.

I like the grid! Keeps my handwriting even and I can use .3 or .4 needlepoint pens. Erasable. Or colored pencils in a multi pen with 8 colors. Also erasable. I don’t like to use correction tapes.

Grid is definitely so helpful for keeping things straight. Many love an erasable pen in their planners. I saw on IG the other day that Writetech is coming out with an erasable pen line. They have really great affordable pen options.

I love how it came out! At first, I didn’t care for the colors or how the kit looked on the sticker paper. But once you finished, I was all smiles! Thanks for sharing. Also curious about the N1: function-wise, what do you think about it? I’m normally a vertical gal, but am contemplating a horizontal layout.

Thank you! I think it's much prettier on the page as well. I think balancing the colors makes a big difference in how they look together. I've used both vertical and horizontal a lot over the years - and love a vertical planner and use that as our main planner layout (in my A5 W222) but I find that a horizontal can be super functional as well. But it depends on my needs. If I'm in a season that I really just need a high level overview of my day and then lists - lots of lists - horizontal works really great for me. But if I need to truly see my day broken down visually by the hour - to see where I'm at at each moment and how I'm spending my day then the vertical is better. I also find that it depends on if its my main everything planner or something I just carry with me out and about or if I'm using more than 1 planner. Also depends on if I'm using dailies and if those dailies have a timeline on them. But I have in the past used no verticals and horizontal for everything - that's how my bujo was in 2020/2021 and it worked great. But as I got busier and life changed and my kiddo got older I switched to vertical but what i carry can be horizontal (or dailies) - i have a PWM of my Stalogy I'm using right now for that. Lots of moving parts LOL I hope that was helpful and not too confusing.
