Can we just say well done to Josh Dallas for playing Ben…he was literally the heart and soul of this whole show…I absolutely loved the whole cast but he was the MVP❤
I respectfully disagree. While I love all the characters the one I think that is the mvp is Luna aka olive. The reason I say this is because she does a lot of work to help understand the callings yet she doesn’t experience them herself. And she takes it all on faith because she loves her dad and brother so much that she doesn’t want them to die on their death date. Everyone else except Vance experience the calling who are the main cast. Unlike Vance olive didn’t have as many resources as he did yet she was always there to help and figure things out. That is just my opinion though
What I love about the ending script is when Mick said exactly the same words she said in the pilot episode. "No one can explain what happened to us on April 7th, 2013. Some called it impossible, others called it a miracle. All I know is it was the day life changed forever." We all knew what happened since. It's a full circle moment.
I literally enjoyed this Show so much, but a big thumbs up for VANCE, he was just so cooperative for the entire time & helped a lot, I just loved his & ben’s chemistry & understandings HATS OFF!!!
@@Abdullah_ibn_Sayyad I felt the ending with the missing/dead 11 passengers leaves it up to interpretation that the show is sort of a cycle that will start all over again with all the passengers on the plane being interrogated so maybe Vance and Ben will be friends once again 😂
It’s great he has no memory. I remember a scene in this season when Okive tells call that she knew he was still alive somehow but knowing that they BOTH lost their childhood. Glad he and Olive get their childhood’s back without the burden of what they went through.
@@robertpalatsky5017 but olive loses TJ in the process 🥲🥲 i know TJ traumatized for life after that. Honestly nightmare scenario going through all that trauma together building a relationship closer than blood and then one person just forgets all of it. U can try to rebuild it but it’ll never be the same. Lil rant cuz the ending made me feel some type of way 🫠 most bittersweet ending ever
@@alphadog9211 The entire show is fictional and unrealistic but the way TJ and Jared moved on so quickly was more unrealistic to me 🥲 You can tell the producers were in a rush to wrap up the story. I wasn't a fan of how they ended the relationships.
@@princesspo9970 what makes me a little sad and it doesn’t make sense to me is the easy way Jared forget Mick when she was the love of his life when they come back to the beginning again after the glow Jared tells her to think about the answer as he was no sure about being in love or being the rest of his life with her even though in the first season he was madly in love with her etc .. for me that scene was forced and didn’t make sense at all
One of my favourite scenes/parallels was when Ben said “what’s to be, will be” as if accepting fate, but when it came to Saanvi’s judgement (where Saanvi accepted her fate) he told her that he wasn’t ready for her to die. Their friendship was the best thing about Manifest for me, and I am a little sad that they didn’t end up together. Otherwise, the ending was bitter sweet.
Agree. I love Grace but the saddest part was Ben and Saanvi! Zeke and Michaela made sense as much as her and Jared were 🔥. A little sad about Olives relationship.
I don't get it. Zeke was in the glow the in the cave and his story replays. So will he die again and be in a loop? How can he be in 2013 timeline and also after cave timeline??
Not all series could nail their finale, but Manifest did. It is sad, happy, and beautiful at the same time. Congratulations and thank you! I am a very satisfied Manifest fan!
@@MunchMaila Although to be honest they did kinda lose it along the way when they start adding supranatural things to a sci-fi and make things less explainable, thankfully they managed to salvage the ending 🥰
What The fuck The ending was terrible lmao after all that they go Back to their families like nothing happened? What saanvi and Ben ? What a stupid ending holy shit
Loved the ending when Mick says Jared "You gotta have HOPE". The scene when Mick meets Zeke in cab and he asks "Have we met before?"😭😭❤❤ I wouldn't mind another season showing how things went ahead. 🥺
Same, or atleast have a flash forward. Thatve been pretty cool. Who knows, maybe we get a spin-off, though I’m not sure what the focus would be. Luna said she’d like a Vance spin-off. Maybe that was a hint? 😂😂
'You gotta have hope' has just the most beautiful double meaning in the context of the show. And. Of course Mich meeting Zeke healed something inside of me. 🥺😍
I like the ending. But something that made me sad was how Vance didn't know Ben and others anymore. He sacrificed so much to help the passengers. I kinda wish there is a tiny spinoff where Ben help Vance to understand where those 11 passengers went.
I would like to believe what you stated was in praise of a woman maligned for being child free. Comes across inadvertently as patronizing I never thought being child free makes one cool, nor do I see it as uncool. Looks selfish, My cool childless uncle or aunt , cool because they don’t have kids on their own and I get all their attention. I understand it can be appreciative of your aunt too. Your comment just set me thinking.
@@vamseemk Not what I meant at all. I'm referring to Michaela's words when she was helping one of the passengers give birth in the detention center. The lady asked her if she had kids. Michaela said that she didn't and added that she was a cool aunt on duty. It's very hard to find female characters being unapologetically childfree without being portrayed as a "heartless" woman who hates children and families.
I was screaming out crazy when Michaela thought about taxi, and than Zeke, and the way she was searching for him, and they finally reunited! Love them both💜💜 My Mom thought I’ve gone crazy when I was screaming 😂😂😂
Loved that part too. Drove my son crazy rewatching the ending over and over. I want to find the part in the series where Zeke tells Mik he was at the airport when the plane disappeared🥲🥲🥲
@@deec411oh i don't remember the episode number but it was in the last 10 episodes when michaela is in detention center and zeke visits her from the glow often. he says something along the lines of "we've had so many almosts before, i can see them clearly from the glow. ice skating rink we almost bumped into each other, and the day when the flight was supposed to land i was doing pickups at the airport."
This is one series the end of which has given me the circle of life moment. I am so happy for Grace being back, Micheala meeting Zeke, Jared finding Drea (to have Hope), the children getting their childhood back. The writers of the show have done a phenomenal job at all the nitty gritties of the show show and I am so proud of them, somehow. Love love loved the show. Congratulations. Thankyou for this journey called Manifest.
Wonderful ending, BUT I'd love a spin off including the investigation of the 11 missing passengers. Something that follows Vance, reuniting with Ben and so on. When Zeke survived his death date, he had incredible superpowers of empathy and so on. This means all of these passengers have superpowers now, except they understand it. This means there's a lot more that can happen in that spin-off.
@@ML-yn9yu They know that. That's why they said it would be an investigation, as in an investigation as to what happened to them and how the NSA goes about trying to find out.
@@ML-yn9yu Well what about Captain Daly? What kind of explanation is co-pilot Amuta going to give as to why he was essentially left alone in the flight deck? 😮
THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST ENDING OF ANY SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN!!!! so much emotions omg. ALSO I love how mick stayed true to herself and backing out from the proposal. and OMG! she found Zeke!
It was a good ending, although It was missing something I think is important. At the very end, last few seconds while Michaela is narrating, we needed a quick time jump 6 years into the future with the whole family. Setting up a chaotic dinner or get together, Ben, grace, grown up kids as we last saw them, Jared, Drea, their baby hope, zeke messing with cal, Eden dancing with ol. And at the last second the front door opens to a Michaela, returning from her "new" Job as an airline pilot, still in uniform. I think a few seconds of this chaotic scene would have made this excellent ending perfect.
Manifest is easly the best show I ever seen, the characters were richly written even though there's a BUNCH of characters (828ers), they all had unique personalities, the plot just got better and better, I could never guess what was going to happen next, Angelina made me sick! The best villain ever, and the spiritual aspects of this were totally on point.
The ending was classic, I didn't expect it....at some point I felt that the series had lost direction but the ending brought back the spark...well done guys.
My Dad passed away in September 2022 and my life since then feels like an episode of Manifest. I left home in 2003 for school and have lived in different places for the past twenty years - had to move back home after twenty years which is strange in itself with him not being here. And looking back there are so many strange coincidences - the biggest one being in September 2005, when I moved from school to Atlanta for a job. The week of training, on that Friday morning, I had to excuse myself and go to the emergency room for pink eye. While I was there, I saw someone walk in with their hand on their chest with pain. From the sound of it, I assumed it was heart/cardio related. I never forgot that moment - it left a permanent memory in my mind. Exactly the same week seventeen years later - and I say exactly because 2005 and 2022 are identical years, each day has the same date - is when my Dad was rushed to the hospital with chest pain and died of a heart attack. He was diagnosed with diabetes in 2012, and high blood pressure in 2015. Add to this the stress of some rotten people making his life miserable (all related to money of course). In a way, he got what he wanted - he didn't want to go through intense, long term suffering with long-term treatments and hospital visits - just wanted his exit from this world to be quick and least painful as possible. Hopefully, he is relaxing now in a better place. But when I think back, there are just other coincidences in dates/times etc. that make me wish I had seen that day coming. Maybe things will come back full-circle somehow in a way that is not necessarily perfect, but at least brings closure and a new start - sort of like this episode of Manifest.
I also find it really bittersweet when they brought Captain Daly and Fiona back-because when they first popped up back on screen I was so excited to receive answers to the closure of the mystery! It seemed perfect, and it seemed crucially important to storyline and plot! Made things get really good, and was enjoying the direction of the show, until they both get killed by Angelina. That was the point where I realized that they weren’t going to fully address what was going on…. That part hurt the most to watch. Definitely a bummer of a moment in the show. And the fact that when they return, we still don’t get answers, or real closure kind of sucks. But at least it’s better than getting no closure at all…
I believe they were killed for the same reason Zeke couldn't reveal the truth, it needed to happen this way, nobody could serve them the answer. If they were to talk they would have reveled that they needed to get in the ark and everything would be OK, but they had to discover that first hand because cal needed to become a becon, Ben needed to forgive Angelina and reveling the truth would have affected their free will, instead of doing it by heart they would have done it by instruction.
Yeah, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear back from those characters, only for them to be killed by the worst character on the show (or the most infuriating) Wish things happened a little differently.
They mentioned Fiona came back at the end when they were showing Kelly, Violet, and Finn, they just don't show her. I wonder about Anna Ross. I hope Daley came back and they were questioning him. I wish they would have showed Marcko and the others that were tested on all normal, they deserve that much.
I was crying at the end of this show, it really was moving and so special to see. You can telll they all really cared about their characters and the story they each had to tell
1)Josh Dallas became one of my FAVORITE characters 2)the actress who played Angelina? So pretty good lord 3)also the show was FANTASTIC. I was so happy I finally saw the whole show
i finished yesterday watching the last episode, and i cant help myself get over the whole drama in the ending. Never thought it would end like that, but the most overwhelming part is that lil Cal doesn't know, Vance neither, Olive too, TJ heartbroken.. It is like awesome friendships went in vain. But anyway, when there are time jumps, this is an ending that fulfils mostly our expectations.
Just finished the show today. Stopped watching because of the pandemic. Just went back to it this week. I'm still on Team Jared regardless of how it ended. Thank goodness Grace came back.
I loved when all the families were reunited. I got a bit teary eyes when Ben was re-untied with his two younger children and Grace, and TJ was re-united with his mother. I just loved how Mick started searching for Zeke right away, for a second, I thought for sure that he was going to recognize her. The fact that the Vance in 2018 was going to investigate a plane with 11 passengers that vanished sent me a bit into a tizzy. That brought up all kinds of questions.
I was very pleased with the ending. I've watched the last 30 minutes 5 times already. I still get chills from episode one when Vance told them they had been missing for 5 1/2 years.
I really loved how that bought it all together that the callings were not just about being good like Ben thought for so long and in the end had to make that choice with the shotgun and Angelina and forgive himself for what she did to his family and to let go of that burden that nearly drove him to madness in that darker period. And the last couple of episodes really drove to home that forgiving yourself was just as important, as the good you do to others and how they really bought that to home when those that were not there yet like Saanvi that still held so much onto her guilt forgave herself at the last moment when as her scales where tipped in the wrong direction and was about to explode and was able to forgive herself with the aid of Bens help, which also shows the power someone has on another life. Everything is connected and we are all in this lifeboat together, love to you all.
Manifest was such a good show, can’t believe it has come to an end but the ending was just as good as I thought it would be, just wish they kinda showed us how their life was after this journey they’ve been through
I loved the finale and I’m gonna miss this incredible cast and crew. I for one didn’t see the ending coming. I was watching and had no idea how they were gonna pull the ending off. They did though. It was a great ending.
I cannot believe that no one has pointed out that the plot of this series is extremely similar to a 2006 Japanese TV series (which is based on a Japanese novel 2004) titled "Kami wa saikoro o furanai 神はサイコロを振らない (God does not play dice)". In the Japanese tv series, the disappeared plane reappears after 10 years. I think the American "remake" should at least give some credit to the original.
Absolutely LOVED the ending!!! OMG when Ben saw Grace and when Michaela and Ben saw their Mom I think they were the best moments in TV history!!! Grace nailed it with her reactions from her wave and straight thru to the end. And the moment Mik realized she could find Zeke in his cab 😭😭😭 and his "Hi....honey" 😂😂😂 THANK YOU SO MUCH for a great series and a fan-freaking-tastic ending!!!! I've watched it over and over and cry every time!!! 🥲🥲🥲🤗🤗🤗
Would say the same if it were not for Olive completely forgetting TJ and the Ben and saanvi ship sinking which I really wanted to see after the show had finished, and also I don’t get what happens in the 2024 timeline?? Like when the passengers re board the plane for the last time doesn’t that leave all the non-passengers without the passengers forever? That’s a bit confusing to me still.
I loved the full circle moment. I have seen so many negative reviews of this ending but to me it couldn't have ended better. Thank you Jeff and thank you all cast. It couldn't have ended any better than it did. I just loved all the characters as if you were my own family but I literally cried with Michaela and Zeke. So special!!!! Thank you again!!!
What hurt me the most was TJ and Olive's relationship ! that scene where TJ says "Enjoy Olive" and Olive's like "He remembered my name" I LITERALLY BURST INTO TEARS
I was so glad that Netflix picked up this show for the final season. It was one of the few series finales that did the program justice. Well done Manifest staff, and Thanks.
This show helped me make a decision - that scene with Eagan and Adrian on the flight home .. we have love each that we are willing to sacrifice ourselves for one another .. that’s loving sacrificially … those who turned to ash were self centered.. Eagan changed at the very last second
I was in tears. Such a great ending and totally didn’t even think it was going that way. Loved it!!!!!!!! Great writing, great acting. Going to miss you all. The ending made me really think about my family and how much I would hug them after not seeing them for years. To make every day with them as if it were the last.
it's been 8 days since i finished manifest and boy do i have a lot to say. first of all, the ending. i loved the ending only because we got zekaela back !! but we lost benvi, tolive, also ben and vance, drea and mick and it hurt me a lot. NOW because i feel that i have recovered from this show, i really really want to know what they do in the future, if saanvi really did save cal again, if zeke and michaela will have children and i just really want another season though it's not possible.
I’m 100% sure and everything with them all will be okay! Cal will recover, Zeke Al’s will have children, I’m sure that Mic will somehow meet Drea, because they are really good friends. When it comes to Benvi, I’m really sorry for them to, but on the other hand I’m very satisfied with Ben and Grace because she is the love of his life! Love between Ben and Sanvi is more like a brother-sister love 😅💜✨
Zeke and Michaela wouldn’t have kids because they didn’t want any. At least Michaela didn’t, I think she mentioned it three times in the series Once to Zeke in season 2/3 and twice to Jared in those last episodes. The “we want different things” comment is specifically talking about their desires on building a family together and when she does it in the 2024 timeline she’s not thinking that there’s a possibility of Zeke coming back into her life.
@@madeleinec147 I don’t know😅 maybe it’s her choice for now, and it will change in the future. I’m sure that Zekeala will be perfect parents for wonderful children✨
@@komilahonnadjimudinova1405 i'm mostly upset about benvi cause LIKE i'm so sorry but i hated grace cause she was just a no in the first season but YEAHHH i get what you mean lol
Just got off from watching the finale part 2. My heart is still pumping from watching the show; was teary-eyed on some parts. I liked the ending because it kinda finishes off the stories of the characters - coming full circle - even who are ending up with who (MickxZeke and JaredxDrea). One of the most satisfying series endings I've ever got to watch. It was bittersweet but still pleased with the way they ended the show. Kudos to all the cast and the team behind the series!! Loved it!!! ❤
I keep being in two minds about this ending. I’m glad they all got to start over. But I can’t stop thinking how much actually was lost by this ending. TJ losing Olive, Eden, Jared’s character growth, Vances character growth. I could go on and on. To me it was not satisfying in the slightest. Instead of moving on, they just went back to the beginning.
me too! like i'm happy for most of them, but i hate that vance and ben don't have their bond anymore. I hate that TJ lost Olive. and I hate that i feel like Jared, pregnant Drea, Eden and older Olive are still in that other universe absolutely devastated because they don't know what happened to everyone
@@datapepple8024 Thank you!! Tbf I don’t think they’re wondering at all, they all died in the fires, when the world went up in flames because of the volcanoes, no?
I kept scrolling to see something like this. The TJ/Olive ending is just devastating. And to think that in the last episodes she leaves the camp to solve the mystery and says to TJ, “This is so we have a future.” Sad
I just finished watching the finale and I have never been this emotional about a show before... I love the ending so much i almost hugged and kissed someone but no one was there for that... Was so glad I got Zekela and a little heart broken i didn't get Saanvi and Ben... I love this show totally❤❤❤
I loved this show - it piqued my interest and kept my interest through 4 seasons. Angelina was pure evil and I cheered when she turned to ash. I cried when Ben and Grace came together. I really wanted Mick and Jared to be together. I am still on the fence about that one. I am proud to be a Manifester!
I criedddddddd, this was so wholesome…. I can’t believe Manifest is completed 😭💐Amazing show 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I just wished we could have seen more after, the airport … however, seeing everyone reunite with their loved ones was absolutely beautiful 💕
No lie I got emotional like a masculine emotional when Eagan and Adrian made it Eagan turned everything around Adrian got on the right path at the last minute
There were some dry episodes but man I couldn't have imagined a better ending. The way the writers toyed with my feelings about Mick and Zeke is ridiculous. I shipped them so much then he died I was like I knew it, the writers want it to be Jared then he lived, then the beginning of season 4 Mick said she still had feelings for Jared, I got frustrated again and knew where the writers are going but I was proven wrong again. But once again, Zeke died. The ending is sooo satisfying, I know Jared and Mick are a real life couple but Zeke and Mick's chemistry was something else.
I had an idea that the ending would be them going back to the beginning. I just want to say thank you to Netflix for picking up this show, when it’s original network gave up on it. I heard so many negative reviews from people and yet, after season three, we needed an ending and Netflix gave all involved as well as the viewers that opportunity. Thank you to all the actors and the people in the background! Thank you for reuniting mik and zeke! Thank you for giving us the scene between josh and parveen. It was sad that olive’s bf lost out on her, but he ended up with the other girl. BRAVO!!
One of the most satisfying endings in a show i’ve ever seen. Smart and not what we would have guessed yet I was very happy with the ending. Screaming at screen when Mik clicked that Zeke would be in the cab outside. ❤
this show BROKE me. no joke 😭!! i literally started crying every minute that i remembered the show. and every time i rewatched the ending i cried too 😭.but the show was great. but i wish they explained what happened in the other universe with olive, eden, drea, and jared. what happened to drea's baby? and what happened to eden?? also how do they not remember anything. but one of the main reasons i sobbed is because no one other than the passengers remembered anything about the whole journey. that bugs me SO SO much. and i SOBBED sooo hard when Zeke died. but im glad hes there in this world and micheala is with him.
The passengers experienced the 5 1/2 years on the flight .. like they were in a trance and shown what could happen if they were missing and returned .. so in reality something’s will happen some things will not because they know how to make better choices and live a life of love and gratitude for each other
I thought the same and then I remember that they connected because of the research they did, because of how passionate they were to get answers. She'll never have to go through that, their interests will certainly differ and they don't make sense together at this very moment. Which is how life actually is. We connect to people because we've lived through certain experiences, and if we had lived through other types of experiences we would have connected with different people...although it's bittersweet and we get attached to romantic pairings, it is SO good to see a show where the decision making was entirely in the show runners hands. A lot of shows get lost because show runners follow what people want to see. Here they did not necessarily follow what fans wanted but what actually made sense and that's really nice, and that's what makes it a great show.
I do really love the Olive and TJ ship but so in 2013 TJ is 18 and olive is 10 1/2 so they prob won’t date again ( the only reason they were able to is bc the people in the plane didn’t age) it’s sad that TJ and Olive aren’t endgame BUT if u remember Levi olive and him are the same age so that would be cool if the end up together.
the perfect ending with everrything coming full circle! and the reunions at the airport were so great, made me tear up😭😭 especially Mick finding Zeke at the airport♥
They deserved that ending since it seemed impossible for 828ers to live normally in 2024, but I'm sad about ALL of my ships sinking: Ben and Saanvi, Jared and Michaela, TJ and Olive 😢 I also loved Vance and Ben's friendship, so I'm sad that Vance remembers nothing in the end.
Saanvi's ending was silly. it was like she needed to have a person to get back together with like all the rest. there was nothing to connect to. she grew well past that old relationship, and should have told her she was moving on, to focus on her work. Michaela's ending was great. seeing Cal was the best
Agree! She moved past it. Plus the show was about being free will and morality. Saanvi being a relationship where she left her husband and kids (an affair) honestly didn't tie into the theme of the show.
Love that the entire cast was team Ben & Grace. You can see the genuine love Josh has for Grace/Athena. The Stone family unit was the most beautiful, grounding force of the series. The connection between Ben and Grace was stunning. It was lovely to see a strong marriage where both parties loved each other infinitely and were committed, fierce parents to their children.
Honestly the best thing about Manifest is that it didn’t try to be a huge mystery - the answers were in front of us and we figured it out WITH the characters, there was almost a more intriguing question of HOW it was going to all play out which in the end was so incredibly satisfying, the series had an amazing flow to it and actually makes sense looking back. It felt clever as well how it all ties in for sure, everything actually feels purposeful looking back…unlike some other shows I won’t mention 😂😂
What a great show! Season 1 is great with the twist of the time jump, and it continued to keep me interested for all 4 seasons. Especially because of characters like Ben Stone really carrying the heart and soul of the show! The character relationships and continues surprises were just phenomenal, and the ending is so emotional for the viewers because it for sure relates to sadness we all feel about our own lives and in a way shows us awesome happiness for these characters!
OMG I loved this show! I love Ben, Jared and ZEKE!!!! This show was a blessing to me as I am in a broken family and want to reconnect! I'm going to try because of these characters!
I especially loved that the passengers got to keep their memories even after they were back cause it shows that the past years were also part of their journey and tte memories of what was and could be are just as important as what will and can be. They get this second chance and can build on their memories and all they've been through to make them stronger.
Angelina was such a great character, harvesting so much hatred from us viewers. That was a real achievement. The other great character was Eagan. So weird and witty at the same time.
Manifest was an Amazing show through and through. And that ending was chef's kiss! Thank you to all the cast and crew for this amazing ride! It was literal perfection ❤❤❤
Guys, you made me live in the glow with you, I cried a lot, felt love a lot and wished you a survival ending. Good job dear beloved all cast. You deserve a noble prize for great acting. Mary Louis from Egypt
Glad everything god their happy endings/ second chance, none more than Olive. That poor girl lost her dad/brother/aunt during her preteen/early teen years. Not to mention, dealing with being an outsider in her own family when they returned. Also NO ONE seems to acknowledge that this girl had to hold her family together while also grieving her mom. Plus, when Ben/Mick were in lockup, she had to be a mom to Eden while also keeping Cal sane. After all she went through. I’m so glad she got her second chance even if she doesn’t realize it.
Literally last night I finished binge watching this whole series, again. When it was on network TV, I lost touch with it and never really finished, so, this was my second watch through from beginning to end. I loved the ending. It truly tied it all together so well. I do wish, like all of us do with shows we like, to see maybe a sequel to it to see how things played out, but that is wishful thinking, I know.
What happened to the lady that had just had a baby with her boyfriend in lock up?! And WHAT ABOUT VANCE?!! His relationship with the Stones.. and suddenly not having it brought me to tears
I loved the ending, Grace and Zeke coming back was EVERYTHING. I’m just glad Ben and Michaela got to be with their soulmates again, they effing earned it. ❤ 😍 👏
The finale makes sense to me so thank you so much to Jeff and all the crew for the way they ended the story. I was shiping Mick and zeke since the beginning of their love story, it’s just the Love story the Most romantic and Pure, and healthy that i’ve ever seen in TV so yeah i am happy that zekeala won the war ❤️ But at the same time i am happy for jared and drea and i think they are cute together. I wasn’t really a Benvi fan sorry so yeah i was very happy to see Grace again with he Husband Ben. I was also happy to see all the others passengers coming back: violet, Fiona clark, Finn Noak ... Also i’m very happy to see young cal again , i’m just sorry for olive and TJ but I think the ending make definitely sense .
I bet the writers and directors wished there was a way they could have TJ and Olive together but just couldn’t because of how odd it would be because of their age difference. But watching everything they went through, and knowing TJ remembers but olive doesn’t or will not is pretty sad Even some fans say that they hope they will meet again, but if they do it won’t be even remotely the same.
Really liked the show and characters. A major dissapointment though is how they ended Saanvi's character. She is one of my favorite characters but is the only character (other than the ones who exploded on the plane at the end) who hasn't evolved since she first boarded the plane in season 1. When she boarded the plane she was looking to continue an affair with a married woman and potentially play a role in destroying someone's family and by the end she is still that character. Unfortunate the writers did this to her character because the character needed to evolve into a place of selfless love, not selfish love, which is where she was when she first boarded the plane. It feels cheap on behalf of the writers because we all want to see Saanvi happy and in the moment in the airport, but the fact remains that she is destroying someones nuclear family if she continues to pursue her affair. There was a more mature and deeper decision to be made her by her character. That is why we can stiil like a character like Danny, even as we root against him ending up with Grace, because Danny is decent enough to walk away from the intact family, that being the Stone family. Saanvi should have evolved as the other characters did and the writers failed in this one respect.
Are you kidding? Sanvis character evolved through the entire show. This was a character who had nothing when the plane landed. She lost everything. Including herself. She turned bitter and synical. At the end she was the complete opposite. She was a team player, she learned how to love, how to have hope, how to keep pressing forward, she bad moments of hopelessness but she didn't let it consume her. She opened up a lot. I think, if you really don't see any character growth from her I think you need to rewatch the show.
Can we just say well done to Josh Dallas for playing Ben…he was literally the heart and soul of this whole show…I absolutely loved the whole cast but he was the MVP❤
yeah, he’s just such an overall amazing actor. i remember watching on abc’s once upon a time & he’s just so phenomenal.
He is like the Rick Grimes of the show. Got so much Rick vibes from him. Really an awesome main character.
What I love about the ending script is when Mick said exactly the same words she said in the pilot episode. "No one can explain what happened to us on April 7th, 2013. Some called it impossible, others called it a miracle. All I know is it was the day life changed forever." We all knew what happened since. It's a full circle moment.

Vance is just an amazing person, I love his character
When Cal didnt recognise Saanvi,i bursted into tears. So much emotions
It’s great he has no memory. I remember a scene in this season when Okive tells call that she knew he was still alive somehow but knowing that they BOTH lost their childhood. Glad he and Olive get their childhood’s back without the burden of what they went through.

Let’s show some appreciation to Vance! He stuck by the passengers from the beginning to the end. 👏
Yes shout out to Vance! He did a lot for them even when you could tell he was fed up (especially due to Ben) 😂😂😂

lowkey the unsung hero..prolly my favourite character from beginning

The scene when Mick meets Zeke in cab and he asks "Have we met before?"😭😭❤❤
I wouldn't mind another season showing how things went ahead. 🥺
Same, or atleast have a flash forward. Thatve been pretty cool. Who knows, maybe we get a spin-off, though I’m not sure what the focus would be. Luna said she’d like a Vance spin-off. Maybe that was a hint? 😂😂
Right! I hope they make like an extended season to show what happened after.
I truly agree with you🫶
I also love the saying from Mick, “HOPE”!!
'You gotta have hope' has just the most beautiful double meaning in the context of the show. And. Of course Mich meeting Zeke healed something inside of me. 🥺😍
So emotional! I’ve never seen a show ending so perfect! 😢
I like the ending. But something that made me sad was how Vance didn't know Ben and others anymore. He sacrificed so much to help the passengers. I kinda wish there is a tiny spinoff where Ben help Vance to understand where those 11 passengers went.
I've just finished the show and it would've been a lovely twist where Vance remembered everything and winked or something

Ikr I loved the confusion of Zeke’s face like “wth?”
@@vamseemk Not what I meant at all. I'm referring to Michaela's words when she was helping one of the passengers give birth in the detention center. The lady asked her if she had kids. Michaela said that she didn't and added that she was a cool aunt on duty.

There were supposed to be another 2 seasons ?
Yeah but it was canceled by NBC after season 3. Netflix picked it up though for 1 final season to wrap up the story.
YES. LOVE THIS
I have been thinking this myself, like the 11 missing passengers was a way to tease a spin-off somehow.
I think you misunderstood the 11 passengers. Most of them were Angelineas follower- they didn't pass the test.
@@ML-yn9yu They know that. That's why they said it would be an investigation, as in an investigation as to what happened to them and how the NSA goes about trying to find out.

Gave me major Lost vibes, which is a big compliment
Anybody else cried so hard when Ben got to reunite with Grace again?
It was a good ending, although It was missing something I think is important. At the very end, last few seconds while Michaela is narrating, we needed a quick time jump 6 years into the future with the whole family. Setting up a chaotic dinner or get together, Ben, grace, grown up kids as we last saw them, Jared, Drea, their baby hope, zeke messing with cal, Eden dancing with ol. And at the last second the front door opens to a Michaela, returning from her "new" Job as an airline pilot, still in uniform. I think a few seconds of this chaotic scene would have made this excellent ending perfect.
Yesss
OH MY GOD MICK AS A PILOT

and a visit to where the other 11 passengers went to hint at a season 5
@1GoShamar eh. I don't really care for a season 5. 4 killed off in a very brutal and lovely way. It would upend the ending.
Try Colony, The Last Kingdom, Salvation, Designated Survivor. All pretty cool.
You haven’t watched many shows then
The ending was classic, I didn't expect it....at some point I felt that the series had lost direction but the ending brought back the spark...well done guys.
The perfect ending. Will always be grateful I found this show during CoVid lockdown. Life saving, folks!!! Blessing to the entire cast and crew.
Jeff Rake is honestly so sweet! He answers every little question on Twitter from the fans and it’s just lovely.
Yeah, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear back from those characters, only for them to be killed by the worst character on the show (or the most infuriating)
Wish things happened a little differently.
Those two characters definitely needed more screen time.
The momen when Ben see Grace. Wow. The best moment. Total clarity for all the fans. ❤️
1)Josh Dallas became one of my FAVORITE characters
2)the actress who played Angelina? So pretty good lord
3)also the show was FANTASTIC. I was so happy I finally saw the whole show
both drea and angelina were bad fr, also yea josh dallas is a good actor
@zkwldn7 bad? Like hot or bad like bad? I like her. She played the religious nut to a T plus I generally hated the character when she killed grace
i finished yesterday watching the last episode, and i cant help myself get over the whole drama in the ending.
Planes vanish all the time. These people are never coming back because they had their chance and blew it.
I was very pleased with the ending. I've watched the last 30 minutes 5 times already. I still get chills from episode one when Vance told them they had been missing for 5 1/2 years.
💯
The most thing i love about the show is mick and zeke story from beginning to ending it’s make sense and well written i love it
The ending was just perfect, I don't think there's a better way to explain it, wow this is definitely a favorite show now
I loved it - I cried through most of the final episode. It made me really happy.

This is the one show I can say has the most superb ending in the midst of all the other shows I've seen. It's literally happy ending kinda movie

At least Michaela didn’t, I think she mentioned it three times in the series
Once to Zeke in season 2/3 and twice to Jared in those last episodes. The “we want different things” comment is specifically talking about their desires on building a family together and when she does it in the 2024 timeline she’s not thinking that there’s a possibility of Zeke coming back into her life.
Michaela is childfree by choice. Which is why things with Jared never would have worked out. She's a cool aunt and proud of it.

While watching I only focused on Grace ❤❤ great job athena karkanis❤
I did not want this show to end! What an ending! What a great show!
BRAVO!!
I like the way Ben stared at Vance at the airport smiling and grace asked him, what happen to that flight.. He just smiled.
One of the most satisfying endings in a show i’ve ever seen. Smart and not what we would have guessed yet I was very happy with the ending. Screaming at screen when Mik clicked that Zeke would be in the cab outside. ❤
When I saw Grace/Ben’s mom waving to them, I was like HALLELUJAH!!!
In my opinion, the show should have gone for longer. Not just Four Seasons more. Please more bring it back.Bring it back manifest forever
this show BROKE me. no joke 😭!! i literally started crying every minute that i remembered the show. and every time i rewatched the ending i cried too 😭.but the show was great. but i wish they explained what happened in the other universe with olive, eden, drea, and jared. what happened to drea's baby? and what happened to eden?? also how do they not remember anything. but one of the main reasons i sobbed is because no one other than the passengers remembered anything about the whole journey. that bugs me SO SO much. and i SOBBED sooo hard when Zeke died. but im glad hes there in this world and micheala is with him.
The passengers experienced the 5 1/2 years on the flight .. like they were in a trance and shown what could happen if they were missing and returned .. so in reality something’s will happen some things will not because they know how to make better choices and live a life of love and gratitude for each other
I really wish they could have done something with Tj and Olive to somehow keep them together. 😢😭❤

So often I am dissatisfied/mad/confused at how a series ends, but not this one. The ending to Manifest was absolutely perfect!
the perfect ending with everrything coming full circle!

Thanks for letting this show go on after the Season 3!

It does make you look at your own life and be EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for each and every day- and loving people in our lives. What do you think?
Not Angelina thinking we will like her @ 2:22 💀💀💀
I especially loved that the passengers got to keep their memories even after they were back cause it shows that the past years were also part of their journey and tte memories of what was and could be are just as important as what will and can be. They get this second chance and can build on their memories and all they've been through to make them stronger.
The perfect ending, it really doesn't get any better than this. Just brilliant and deeply touching. Thank you 🙏❤🎉
Angelina was such a great character, harvesting so much hatred from us viewers.
The Manifest finale - A happy ending that kept on giving. Great stuff!
Anybody else felt annoyed when they saw Angelina?😂😂
Lol just means she’s a good actor
Literally last night I finished binge watching this whole series, again. When it was on network TV, I lost touch with it and never really finished, so, this was my second watch through from beginning to end. I loved the ending. It truly tied it all together so well. I do wish, like all of us do with shows we like, to see maybe a sequel to it to see how things played out, but that is wishful thinking, I know.
when he says thanks manifesters at the end ..... i realize what a journey this was!!!! and that now it's all ended...
The most amazing series.
The best part is if you don't understand anything, it still makes u connect easily.
Imma miss Vance, awesome character. Imma Miss his Tonsil Hockey 😭
I cannot even begin to explain how much I loved this show. The ending was fantastic, bravo to everyone for four incredible seasons!
But watching everything they went through, and knowing TJ remembers but olive doesn’t or will not is pretty sad
Even some fans say that they hope they will meet again, but if they do it won’t be even remotely the same.
@@reneaoatis1350 yes i guess you're right !
Thanks to all the cast and crew for this amazing show. Loved the reunions at the end - had me in tears. What a ride!
Anyone else feel this is like Lovers in Paris?!? I love Manifest and will forever miss it now that it has ended. 😢😢😢
One of the most beautiful endings of all time.
Matt Long was phenomenal on this show.
imagine JUST IMAGINE a spinoff called…
“Life After 828”
