Thanks Jens Orra for subbing, commenting, liking and especially WATCHING. I'm pumped, we have more hawking trips planned for next week, stay tuned! 🦅🐇🎥📺👀
That was a good observation, JO...😂 In falconry we call that a slice, it's a good sign when the bird empties its contents before hunting. They tend to be more alert and eager to hunt. I used to do the same thing before I went to work every morning, LOL.🥴
Still have a shortage of rabbits down there, aname? I would say drive to where the rabbits are, but at $6 a gallon for gas, it gets pretty pricey after a while.🥴
@old school hawking got my bird up, but I've been beating empty bushes for a week. On the prowl for more fields and you're right gas ain't cheap but birds gotta hunt.
@@anamenamename Between 1972 and 1974, we used to train Red Tails to hunt almost anything. The most fun was hawking Coots on the lawns of parks and golf courses.😎🏑👍
Awesome flights!!! Can’t beat hawking with a gos!
Especially tiercels, their speed is mind boggling.😲
Thanks for checking in Ben.😎👍
Those Goshawks are sure quick of the fist, plenty action here, nice to see a few rabbits about Mike.
Take care and keep on hawking.
Unlike our piss-poor salmon season, our hawking season looks promising, Pete.😎🎉
This is what I've been waitin' for. Looks like those artificial knees are workin' just fine. Booya!
Yeah Bob, the knees are great, no pain whatsoever. Should have done it 15 years ago.😎👍
Absolutely Beautiful Animals!!

Video was super enjoyable, nice job guys.
Hey Sal, how are you and the family doing?
(and your parrot)👨👩👧👦🦜
Great day out there Mike beating the bushes!
Yeah Matt, even though I got new knees put in, those bushes still kick my butt.🤕
@@oldschoolhawking8191 I did hear a little deep breathing, but that's a good thing!
With all that heavy breathing it’s like Freddy Krueger is there
Old School Lungs🥴
Nice! 👍🙏🎣JU Hammah⚒
Thanks for watching Hammah!⚒️👊
💯💪🤘👊 Nice work guy's!
Hawking season finally arrived, Cali. It lasts until the striper spawn in march, then we make the switch.😎🍻
@@oldschoolhawking8191 Looking forward to the content!
Lol!! Well that was a big shit!! 🤣🤣

Nice flights! How are the rabbit populations in your neck of the woods?
Anthony just recently started hawking, so far in Northern California, there are rabbits available. How about where you live Dan?
I’m about a week or so away with my new passage red tail. But what I hear from other falconers here in southern CO is not great. We shall see
@@dlaughlin9
When you find out, give me a holler. I'm just wondering about Nevada also, there's a lot of falconers that hunt those desert jacks.
Send some of those rabbits down here to SoCal please.
