The only player (before the red card) that pushed me to go with him was Chillwell since he was very offensive. And maybe Nkunku cause he indeed has some real talent. João Pedro from Brighton was the one I was really impressed with and at 5.5 he might be bargain.
are you pretty aware of the fact that in pre-season matches opponents are tend to play not too harsh as they usually do ? of course no one will never let him play this way in a regular EPL game

Interesting. I think 3 forwards has it merits, but I just don't have that much confidence in Nkunku. Trent is always tempting, but I can't afford him. I really want Gabriel, Estupinan and Stones. And I need the money for Rashford, Bruno, Saka, Mbeumo and Foden (or grealish, depending on who looks the most nailed). So I can only afford Porro and Botman on my bench, and no Trent.
I feel like chilwell if he stays fit and I injured needs to be in the convo with the way his pre is going, Jackson had 3 returns against Brighton and that was after coming in during the second half, 2 assists against wrenxham so I think if he can secure a starting position considering Chelsea are still after a RW then he could be a steal at 7 similar to how Watkins was last season

not currently, just too many options in that team for me to choose either gakpo or darwin. If Nunez starts to find his feet in his 2nd season as the forward its busy for that left sided spot (Jota, Diaz, Gakpo).
i like this draft. doubt i'll start with Nkunku or Porro but it shows that teams can go a lot of different ways at the start of the season and certainly once teams like Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Villa get their good run of games at the same time as Liverpool. Do you focus your efforts on going to Salah or keep the money spread to get Son, Sterling, Nkunku, Trippier, etc

Brighton will change their starting 11 more than any other team this season. He'll rotate with Ferguson, it's just a headache that isn't worth it from GW1
Brighton has a lot of good attackers, 8 or 9. So big rotation risk. I already have 2 forwards I really want, and going with Pedro would cost a million more than a 4.5 one wich would damage my midfield or defence. Lastly, they have West Ham, Wolves, Newcastles, United and Villa in the first 7. All teams with a decent or even good defence. So I think Brighton might not get that many goals at the start of the season.

Don't exactly know why Mbuemo and Mitoma are so highly rated . I get Mitoma due to his performances last season but mbuemo doesn't do enough to convince me to invest in him . Brentford is blunt in attack. Dropped off in goals very badly at the end . Also maybe a bad season for them is around the corner . Not pessimistic but how many times it has happened with Sheffield years ago , Leicester multiple times, west ham going from 7th place finish to ending in the bottom half
Only downside to that team besides the Arsenal players (personal preference not to have them for me) is Flekken and Areola. I have both in my team too currently but with the Raya situation unresolved and Fabianski playing a blinder against Spurs in pre season, it makes me nervous.
Would you be tempted by Cancelo if he stays at City and Walker leaves? Seems like the right back spot would be his at that point and we all know how good he is

Guys preseason is not reliable at all. For example last season Nunez had a cracked preseason and people thought he was better than Halaand just cause he missed an open net against Liverpool. But then what happened. The previous season is much more relevant to judge.

The possibility of him just rocking up to this season and dropping a hatrick on burnley will test my nerve though.

Calling it now .... Trent will be a blunder move for almost everyone. People say he plays in midfield now so doesn't have much defensive duties + a free cs but Liverpool's defence is ageing totally. Konate isn't some VVD who would revolutionise the defence . VVD is old , Gomez is bang average and Robbo can't do everything alone . Also with Mac Allister, Sbozo ,Thiago , Jones,Eliott all there ,i don't see Trent as a midfielder amd worth 8m . Even though at RB too he'll give constant returns but ill rather go for a city defender or a United defender who gives 2 goals and 4 assists a season but plenty of clean sheets like Shaw,Stones

Why does the 3-5-2 with the same team look stronger than the 3-4-3? A 3-5-2 looks visually more appealing for some reason

Not against it if it’s the right move. Not convinced a double up on Brentford, Palace, Brighton or even Man United is one of those though.

Calling it now .... Trent will be a blunder move for almost everyone. People say he plays in midfield now so doesn't have much defensive duties + a free cs but Liverpool's defence is ageing totally. Konate isn't some VVD who would revolutionise the defence . VVD is old , Gomez is bang average and Robbo can't do everything alone . Also with Mac Allister, Sbozo ,Thiago , Jones,Eliott all there ,i don't see Trent as a midfielder amd worth 8m . Even though at RB too he'll give constant returns but ill rather go for a city defender or a United defender who gives 2 goals and 4 assists a season but plenty of clean sheets like Shaw,Stones
