Blue Heart. Smells so good! I do not get the gasoline smell but I also think it’s way too masculine - for me. I love unisex fragrances - love it, but this leaned way too masculine.
My sample, I used on my 5 yr old grandson and he loved it! His winter coat still smelled strongly like it a week later! So I bought him a bottle 😆 He absolutely loves it!

I totally agree with you on the Lancome La Vie Est Belle flanker assessment. Iris absolute is good! The extrait blew me away and I recently picked it up.

I absolutely love Dirty Heaven and Drunk Lovers from Born to Stand Out. The scents are all very different and you either love this line or hate it. But they are well blended!

I have Carioca Heart, I love it. Salas will be here tomorrow. I can't wait, because I've wanted it since last summer. I agree with you on Blue Heart. And it's faint, too much money for an intimate scent.
I have samples of Sweet Xplosion and Sugar Kisses... will see how I feel about them.
I love sampling perfumes, two times a year I compile a list for spring/summer and fall/winter fragrances to try and have fun. I would estimate that maybe 10-15% of those samples are a LOVE. The rest I can enjoy the sample and that's it. The ODD time I get an absolute OH NO get it off. lol. but that doesn't happen very often.

Yes it definitely has something bitter… it’s sour on my skin. Definitely a pass for me.

I get what you are saying about Carioca heart. It has been very difficult for me to find a mango that doesn’t come off green and stink buggy on me. I did buy a full bottle of this though because it’s the best creamy mango I’ve found for my skin😊
Mango is a tricky note for me for sure.
I made a blind buy when it came to Drunk Saffron because i love the boozy vanilla’s and also i’ve had a slight obsession with the saffron note lately so the notes told me i would love it. The first month i had it.. The first several sprays I hated it. The saffron and leather clashed so much it felt like I was sniffing a burning leather shoe.. I even listed this on Mercari because I was so convinced that this frag was my first blind buy fail but while my frag was listed on mercari i decided randomly to wear it again before truly losing it (it had started receiving offers) and in my last attempt to wear it everything changed for me. Suddenly the plum and saffron were just oozing from my skin with this booziness drizzled over it. Each waft of the fragrance that hit my nose was so intoxicating because the boozy plum spiced with that saffron was really messing with me. I kept sniffing myself and for days on end I wore this to bed so i could just lay in a cloud of this scent and enjoy it. Needless to say i deleted my listing on Mercari and never looked back because while this fragrance is everything you described it as i think yours wasn’t left long enough to settle because after some time i witnessed mine change and oh my god did it blossom. Even now bringing my bottle out to sniff it all i smell is the plum, saffron, and booziness. Drunk saffron is the perfect name for this scent because the final product of what it’s supposed to smell like is a drunk saffron feel with a dark boozy plum. It’s the epitome of sexy date night. I truly do not even get a strong leather note anymore i only smell the saffron that is rich and dark mixed with that plum and cognac. There’s also some vanilla there making everything sweeter and more rich but the plum saffron combo are the stars of the show at least on my skin.
Couldn't agree more about Carioca Heart! I really really liked the opening but it gets too powdery for me in the dry down. Coconut is not listed in the notes, but I totally got a dusty dry coconut mixed with mango and vanilla. It smells as if Hibiscus Mahajad and Dolce Garden had a baby, and I have both of those, so didn't love this enough to purchase it, even though I liked it. Can't wait to try the Amore Torrido.

I recently sampled three Navitus fragrances….Miel Extase, Venom of Love, and Baklava Royale (??). For the first minute after spraying, the essences (Honey, Chocolate Cherry etc) were so good! Then I got a note in the initial dry down that I didn’t like at all! And it stayed! It was all I could smell. It was in all three…. So happy I sampled first because, evidently, Navitus is not for me.
Montale and Mancera have a different note I don’t like, but it’s equally off putting!

Hi Jackie: As stated earlier....I do have Sweet Xplosion. Went to Bath and Body Works and picked up "After Dark" body creme...it is in the Men's Department. Has Bergamont, Amber and Tonka. Thought this might go well with Sweet Xplosion and for me, it is really a nice combination. Since you had trouble with Sweet Xplosion on it own, may I suggest you try this body creme. You have mentioned different cremes from BBW's before so I decided to give this idea a try and have also purchased Warm Vanilla Creme and the new Gingham Gorgeous. Will be fun to try these with different fragrances I have to break things up a bit from time to time. Thanks for the suggestion! Let me know how After Dark worked for you if you decide to try it. :)

Was very interested in your thoughts on Blue Heart! Yeah I’m with you….not sure I get gasoline, but it really confuses me and in a bad way. I still have some of my sample and I will try it again. Def unique! Also agree with you 100% on Vanille Leather: purple flower forward for me too and I love it 💜 BTSO is on my to try list. Love these sampling videos - A++ Jackie!

I did enjoy Blue Heart and may pick it up one day. I do think it's a bit masculine, so that's been my hesitation. No gasoline smell but I've had that experience with other fragrances!

Hey Ms. Jackie. I really wanted to love Blue Heart because of my affinity for the color blue. But the scent I just couldn't get with. For starters, I could barely smell the fragrance. I could not detect the coconut or the saffron. I was underwhelmed.
Mmmm..Sugar Kisses 💋 come to me..that one is on my list. BDK Vanilla Leather is a fav because you are right you have to love purple florals and I love me some violet & Iris 💜
I love sugar kisses on initial spray it smelt like Nutella, it’s not everly sweet but I think it’s pretty unique. I get more of a liquid desert like a milkshake as opposed to a cake as I don’t find this to be fluffy… an amazing gourmand, I’m surprised it’s not selling out everywhere 🤤🤤

I smelled like NOTHING with Blue Heart! Crazy! I LOVE Sugar Kisses SO much!!!!! It’s so beautiful!!!! My latest obsessions are Coya, Nota Sugar, Haze, Dulcis, and Black Soul! I just love perfume SO much!!!! OH! And have you seen the brand Grammatik Drammatik? (Sp?) Can’t Touch This is like Minnie Mouse and BR 540 to my nose! And Sexorcism (hate the name) is the sweetest thing I’ve smelled in a while! The wafts off it are intoxicating!

I don't think I tried any of these. But if you're looking for a banana Laffy Taffy fragrance you can layer with others, Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Vanille Banane. I got a 30ml for a good price and used it many times last Summer with Utopia... ( banana and coconut cream pie feel) and in the Fall with Amour de Cacao (can't go wrong with banana chocolate). 😊

I like alot from Lorenzo pazzaglia. I have cherry ink,summer hammer , van extasyx, van py rhum and sugar kisses.love the 2 vanillas the most.they are different to me to own both.❤😊

Try, drunk lovers, BTSO❤❤❤. Also sugar addict is very nice, great for layering with many other fragrances you want to sweeten up. I didn't like blue heart. I found the mix of saffron, rose and coconut a bit odd and it also smelled very mature, like for an older person. I found the dry down to be too powdery, gave me a headache. No gasoline smell, but Blue 💙 is a NO for me.

I got a sample of tobacco honey when it first came out and I expected to like it too. But I really dislike it because of the tobacco and yes it’s very masculine to my nose. I’ve heard all the positive reviews too, but no. Glad I’m not alone with that opinion!
I’m still on the fence about vanilla leather. It’s not wowing me, but it may grow on me.

I absolutely want to add Sugar Kisses from LP ❣ at first sniff I get Bailey's , Emysworldofragrance got the same thing as well, but that dries down quickly but doesn't go to something like Bianco Latte IMO 😍 this one is different to my nose as well ....
Cherry Ink from the house is loved by ppl around me , lots of compliments and at first I wasn't sure I liked it, thought about exchanging it ( blind bought ), but it now in the love category, there's oud/ink/ red wine , it's different , I love Van Ecstacyx but ppl around me perceive chocolate , I smell vanilla with slight floral touches to give it a twist 💞

I love this series, Jackie! Is Amore Torrido similar to Leisure in Paradise? I know the latter has Papaya but I mean, would it be redundant?
They definitely have the same tropical sweet vibe and scent profile, but I don’t find them redundant. They go in different directions. AT has a floral presence that LIP does not have and there is a lot of amber in AT. Definitely similar, but I adore this scent profile and make out enough differences to justify having both.

I thought Happy Nuts was the best out of the three from the new releases of BTSO. It was so very well blended to my nose.
Mad Honey was ok but not a love.
Nanatopia was a scrubber. It was too animalic and masculine for me. I was bummed because I did purchase a full bottle and retuned it. The notes sounded amazing.
I didn’t get gasoline but it does have a strong drown. But I do like it.

I have tried Drunk Saffron and it was weird to me. I didn't completely hate it but it was not right for me as well. I also hate leather and violet notes. O no Ms Jax I love Blue Heart. I didn't like it at first but I let it sit for a few days and went back to it and I love it. I didn't like Bravi. It smell like funky corn chips to me.🤷🏾♀️I think Tobacco Honey is leaning masculine just a bit, but I love it tho.

I tried the BORNTOSTANDOUT fragrances and the only one I liked was happy nuts.and even with that one I don't think they are worth the price tag.😊😮
Demi was one of the first to talk about BDK Vanille Leather describing it as a white floral. So I was really confused when I finally smelled it and just got violet, a purple floral lool. Like its very sweet powdery violet forward, with suede. It's nice but not really me.
Yeah I definitely don’t get white florals but every nose is different I guess 🤷🏻♀️
Blue heart is really unique and polarized !I adore it but i think it’s a big miss or a big love !!! For me it’s a huge love!sugar love it’s really nice as a scent but it got really linear on me

Nanatopia is the best banana fragrance I’ve ever tried it’s a beautiful natural smelling banana bread, has a bit of earthiness to it. My issue here is the bottles need some improvement…Greta mentioned it as well the plastic caps aren’t that great & fall off. Plus the cost is 🙈
The other two I didn’t like much.
Mad Honey was an awful rose dominate vintage smell on me.
Happy nuts was OK. I prefer Baklava Royale
Sugar kisses was palmers cocoa butter on me. 😣
I love Nanatopia but I got more of a candy banana laffy taffy smell (which I love). I find Banana bread banshee to be more realistic with a very prominent nutty (walnut) scent. I love them both.

Tales of Zanzibar and Trouble in Paradise are just annoyingly tart to me. Maybe it's better in extremely hot weather. TIP has a skanky oud and brief spoiled fruit note. I wonder if mango is a fantasy note because it seems most do not get it right. Also, Dolce Passione smells like animalic musk, something pretending to be strawberry but doesn't quite smell like it, mixed with the chocolate woodiness in Chocolate Queen to me. Just interesting. I think Panah London Pink Champagne Truffle does the chocolate strawberry combo better. But the strawberry in that smells like a moscato next to chocolates to me.
I did not like the strawberries in dolce passione either. Mango is a tough note for me.
I blind bought tobacco honey and am not thrilled about it😢 I don’t get the dirty Tobacco but the honey is just to strong and potent… I thought it would dry down and soften but it just doesn’t. I will probably sell on eBay or something… so sad..because I love Tobacco and I love honey… the balance was just off for me.

i tried blue heart last winter it smelled masculine one me i also didnt like it. I also dont like Tobacco Honey smelled masculine also on me. most big guerlain collectors like me did not like Tobacco Honey. Lorenzo Pazzzalia that house i hate all their scents to be honest so so synthetic.
I got gasoline with blue heart. My husband was like what the heck did you spray. He said i smelled like a mechanic. 😂

I actually don’t have any to recommend. I love the OG angels share so much that I don’t seek out the dupes, so I’m not educated on which ones are good or not.
Dolce Passione is the one I feel like Chocolate Queen was inspired by with the exception of strawberry. It immediately reminded me of CQ once I smelled it and prefer Dolce bc it’s not as linear.
I felt the same way, they smell very similar
