Hi Hwayoung If you tap the bottom of the beer with a stick or spoon twice, it won't spill much when you open it. Also, I'm glad that you tried a Sapporo beer because the place is famous for its beer and is one of its main product exports. I noticed that you speak English well and even know basic Japanese. You're good people when you said that you'll pay it forward for the kindness of strangers (later friends) You're a strong, fit, independent lady to carry around a 41-pound backpack while your hands are full with maps and a gopro cam. All in all, your camping was a success. Here's waiting for your next adventure.

Before you open a beer, tap on the top of the lid 10 or 15 times and then it should not foam up on you when you open it. It foams up because it is being stuck around in your backpack. Try that and see how that works for you
