Can't wait for your review of the AMG E53 Hybrid with the inline 6 and 100kms of electric range. For Canadians, I think it will be the ultimate electrified sweet spot. Would love to hear your thoughts.
@@BrianMakse Now if they only bring the E53 Hybrid wagon over in addition to the sedan. I'd put a deposit down right now if that happened. According to my local dealer, Mercedes is evaluating that possibility in the light of the new BMW 5-Series wagon. 🤞🏽
The i5’s range is a deal-breaker for me. I own an i4 e40 msport, which is slower and RWD but nicely balanced. Over 38,000 miles the lifetime average consumption with 80% highway driving is 3.8 mi/kWh. In summer, I often get 4.0 to 4.2, but in New England winter it drops to 3.0 to 3.5 depending on conditions. I bought rather than leased the car, so I limit the battery to 80% charge and try to avoid getting below 10%. Everyone has a unique use case. We make 90 mile round trips twice a week and 150 mile round trips once a week. With my situation, I wouldn’t buy an EV that gets
Always always owned a five, best car in its class
Even this latest one, whether EV or gas, they’re brilliant.
Low to mid threes? It's about 6 seconds 0-100. The xDrive around 5,5. Or did I misunderstand?
Great review, brother 😊

The acceleration is around 5.4 not mid 3s

There are enough electric vehicles (EVs) and SUVs piling up at every dealership.
