- More work on the first pastured pig pen today after I finished cleaning up the area with the Kubota BX2380 and setting the T-posts and hog panels. I used shiplap to finish the siding and cover up the pallets. I also get the floor in and begin working on a roof to keep the pigs safe and dry.

I am in the midst of a pig pallet build and I should wrap it up today before the hurricane rains reach up here. Enjoyed a full-watch.
Good luck with the hurricane!
Bro those pigs are going to taste fancy with them living in a shiplap hut!
This is great watching how to be conservative with the lumber prices
God Bless All

I just built something very similar on the new homestead. I didn't film because the bomb cyclone (I have a two part video up of damage that occurred because of that) was starting and it was raining. I used plywood sheets that I had stored for another project but the pigs needed shelter immediately. I angled the end pieces also to create slope on the roof. Hope to get up video up in the next month of what it looks like finished.
I love your videos ! I'm so glad that Morgan mentioned you
I love pallet builds.
Thank you for the ideas! I'm going to be working on my pallet shelter this week and it's nice to get some inspiration. :)
They live in a box in the woods eating mushrooms, roots and plants all their life.. yup hippies
Love it... Aren't pallets great! (Especially considering the price of lumber)
With wood prices the way they are you could be stripping pallets down and making money 😄.
What were the measurements of the shiplap you bought and how many did you have to buy?
