British mx is in a bad place, I grew up watching thorpe/anstie/herring/dobb/nicol/malin amoung others competing in gps in the late 80s/90s winning gp races, Thorpe of course I don't need to mention what he achieved. Now we have 1 rider finishing between 10th-15th in MX1. Can't see another British gp race winner let alone a champion for a long long time.
