Mantra meaning:
Om - the use of this syllable in Buddhism is limited mainly to the Tibetan Buddhist schools, where it primarily serves as the first syllable in a mantra.
Mantra meaning :
You, Vajrasattva, have generated the holy mind (bodhicitta) according to your pledge (samaya). Your holy mind is enriched with the simultaneous holy actions of releasing transmigratory beings from samsara (the circling, suffering aggregates). Whatever happens in my life-happiness or suffering, good or bad-with a pleased, holy mind, never give up but please guide me. Please stabilize all happiness, including the happiness of the upper realms, actualize all actions and sublime and common realizations, and please make the glory of the five wisdoms abide in my heart.
Recite the mantra seven or twenty-one times or as many times as possible, practicing the three techniques of downward cleansing, upward cleansing and instantaneous cleansing.
Generating faith in having been purified
“From the crown of my head, Guru Vajrasattva says, ‘Son of the race, your negativities, obscurations and broken and damaged pledges have been completely purified.’ ”
Generate strong faith that they have been completely purified just as Guru Vajrasattva has said.
Mantra chanting benefits:
Chanting this wealth mantra helps the practitioner to dissolve the negative karma that attracted poverty into her/his life, bringing prosperity and wealth to whom will use the wealth that she/he gained to help others. Moreover, reciting the mantra with pure intentions will assure that all of our materials needs are met and we have wealth and abundance in each and every aspect of our lives.
”Because in this world, there are all types of wrathful and negative emotions or bad spirits, and occasionally they will harm you and other sentient beings, Dzambhala must take on such a powerful and wrathful form to protect us from negative karma and these harmful spirits.
Kubera and Amoghasiddhi
The Black Jambhala is also known as the Hindu God of Wealth, Kubera.[6] Originated in ancient India, he manifested from the waters of the river and gave the transmission of generating wealth to a king whose kingdom was undergoing extreme financial difficulties during that time. He also benefits the poor and those in solitary retreat that have a virtuous mind.[3]
Popularized by Shakyasribhadra, holding a skullcup and mongoose, naked and wrathful in a standing posture. He is the God of Wealth in Tibetan Buddhism. With august guise he treads on the back of yellow rich man. Jambhala, Black (Tibetan: dzam bha la, nag po), a wealth deity popularized in Tibet by Bari Lotsawa (b.1040) and the Kashmiri teacher Shakyashri Bhadra

He is the manifestation of Amoghasiddhi Buddha by the request of Buddha Shakyamuni to turn the Wheel of Dharma to benefit sentient beings who are suffering from poverty. He will enable all endeavors to be perfectly accomplished and purify all bad luck and obstacles, prevent theft, bad debts and loss of wealth.[3] Jambhala has a black colored body. He is depicted in a standing position over a human body, symbolizes to subdue human’s ego and eliminate human’s greed. His right hand is holding a Gem Pot and his left hand is holding an animal named Nehulay (mongoose) that spews jewels from out of its mouth. Black Jambhala also wears a snake necklace on his body.
Particularly, He helps us minimize or decrease all obstacles and misfortunes and helps us increase our happiness and good fortune.” - His Holiness Gyalten Sogdzin Rinpoche.
Some people have financial problems, others have big problems when they have money and Dzambhala helps to heal either. Additionally, He helps one achieve success in all projects and endeavors.
He is the foremost amongst the 5 Dzambhalas (wealth deities). The five Dzambhala are: Black Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Green Dzambhala and Red Dzambhala. All five Dzambhalas are said to be the wealth giving form of Chenrezig (Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara), meaning they originally emanated from the Compassionate Buddha. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is also known as Kuan Yin.
