I'm a 41-year-old lady who still loves Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. I'm a 5-year-old child on the inside. Your videos aren't rubbish at all. Sure, I agree, when doesn't something go terribly wrong? Those videos are a good laugh and a half, and you have a great sense of humor. I'm no expert when it comes to rebuilding a model railway, because I don't have room for a baseboard like you do. Just take your time and fill up the space with whatever accessories float your boat. It won't matter if your heritage railway ends up looking a bit like the fictional Island of Sodor, we'll always watch your steamies running.
It's nice to see you in front of the camera and yes is there a chance that the station building can get hanging baskets plus would it be easier if your rolling stock was moved before putting a new railway in and what happens if obviously it won't but if there was a derailment what emergency plans do you have.
Quite a change around the chimney structure, but it is flowing nicely! Sounds like you have some great ideas moving forward, so we should stop making you read all these so you can get back at it! lol
I can see what you have done with the heritage line now. You have given it a longer running length. One thing I would attempt to do is make up some promotional advertisinf for the station highlighting future events like a gala or santa specials. Some railways utilise a bill board or some use banners.
Will be great to see the progress on the heritage line. Does it go on a continuous run then? I think so looking at how it’s laid out unless it terminates at the intermediate station?

I would put a home base somewhere to store locos
so the creek was not your knees then lol ,you could your stored locos where they are ,and have a lift off section to access them
