I've always loved the Arcam integrated amps, all the way back to the FMJ series in the early 2000s. They always sound excellent and more powerful than their amp rating suggests.
Yes, we remember the first Alpha 9 we heard in the early 90's. They have always produced really good sound.

I can't believe how nice they look. I was hell-bent on getting something from Rotel like the A11 Mk II, but the Arcam A5 is pretty much same thing, only it looks a lot more modern and sleek!

I appreciate all the extra functionality, but can you comment on how the A15 would compare in terms of performance to my Diva A85 when connected to my Monitor Audio Studio 20SE speakers? I would get a demo before purchase, but it would be good to know how the technology has moved on in recent years.

Class G is a new concept to me, and seems ideal for those that listen on low levels throughout the night. This is a huge selling point for me, where power efficiency is a concern.

Hello, it seems to me that the device at the top right doesn't have the same black color as the rest of the other devices. Is this due to the video or does the device have a lighter color. Wouldn't look good if you put the black CD player on top of it, would it?
This is just in the video under very bright lights. In real life they are all the exact same black color. Thanks for pointing that out!

That is a great question! Yes, there is a processor mode you can assign to any of the analog inputs.

My brother bought the a25 with the streamer and kept having issues with the streamer software. He had enough he gave the streamer back and bought a node

I have had my Arcam AVR for years and still don’t know how to run it and get it dialed in. It is a pain.
Sorry you had trouble. Did you reach out to the dealer you purchased it from for help?
@@AudioAdvice I made the mistake of buying it from NFM which is a furniture store. Not a great idea. I tried to get the BB geeks out to do it and they came out and said only specific people could calibrate it which guy never showed up for my appt. I finally just gave up.
Missed opportunity to include HDMI arc
That was my first thought when it was first announced 😏
It would have been nice but probably raised the price beyond where they wanted. They do have a home theater bypass so the envision these as a basic two channel audio only rig.
@@AudioAdvicethank you. Now that you provided this information, I changed my mind to now consider this component as an option to upgrade my current system. The home theater bypass option is not mentioned in the website nor it is obvious by looking at the rear of the component. That information is valuable for people like me looking to build a system for stereo and home theater in the same room, but It’s only mentioned in the user manual.

It is 2023 and the $140 Arylic B50 has HDMI ARC, no excuses Arcam. I am only 1 person, but it cost them 3 A25 sales. How many more worldwide? I am betting enough that adding that feature with no price increase at all would have increased their profits, but maybe I am wrong.
The fact that you only get illuminated knobs on the A25 is bizarre! Those LEDs probably cost about $3. Penny pinching madness.
We would have liked to see it on all the models as well.
I was interested in this till I saw no balanced XLR inputs is a no go for me.

Is the ST5 a step down from the ST60??? Looks like the ST60 is getting phased out and it’s twice the price with a better DAC. Is Arcam taking a step down market?????
The ST60 would be better, we have not heard word yet on a replacement lineup, but as with all electronics companies, it will happen eventually. The Radia Series actually goes back to what made Arcam famous, entry level audio gear that sounded great. Decades ago, they only made relatively inexpensive gear that was incredible, like the Radia. So close......it is great that they made these integrate together so seemlessly. However, they ignored the 1 feature that most allows integration with everything else that many need and that is HDMI ARC. There is no Radia TV or Radia 4k video streamer for these to integrate with, so they need HDMI ARC to fit in with a lot of people. No HDMI ARC equals a no go for me, I have one surround theater with an AVR30 and 3 stereo only set ups that deature a TV. I would be ready to use an A25 in all 3 of those systems if it had HDMI ARC, but without it they are a non starter..........
We will pass on the feedback. HDMI ARC has a big advantage with the volume control aspect. They do have toslink in so you could connect that way, but you are right, it is not the same

@@AudioAdviceThe Sonos Ray soundbar has a nice workaround for the absence of HDMI ARC. It connects via toslink, but It can learn the volume controls of your TV IR remote. It would be nice to see something similar implemented in the Radia line (perhaps even via software update.)
Oooohh... does this mean that we are getting some new AVRs? Hope so and hope Arcam do not rush the AVRs this time around.
