Love this idea, I took your deck and adjusted it slightly, adding a bit more goad and ways to flicker kardur! Really excited to try the deck out tomorrow, thanks for the inspiration :-)
i was just building this i went more the direction of giving my opponents more 1/1 creatures 1/1s have a much easier time to die and run things like dictate of the twin gods and more over alot of things that help me recast this commander I want to GOAD ALL THE TIME!!!!
I tried to build a combat manipulation politics deck awhile ago with Tor Wauki as the commander. It didn't work out so well, but I'm glad to see support for the strategy!
Any ways to goad more? How could we flicker Kardur other than Conjurer's Closet? Could also serve as a way to protect Kardur since I'm sure my opponents will be trying to take him off the board as soon as possible.
While this is very true, I’ve actually found removing kardur is just as bad as keeping him around, since recasting him causes the goad effect again! In my games I’ve seen kardur dodge removal on that basis alone
@@CommandValley huh that's true, good point. So you think it's not worth putting in cards to flicker him so that you can potentially trigger his first ability each of your turns? I'm just not sure if it's enough to rely on triggering his second ability only during your combat phase. If you're attacking each time and then your opponents aren't forced to attack each other, you're left wide open. I'm not an experienced player whatsoever so feel free to lecture me ^^
@@AXBA92 in instances where you cannot attack due to certain limitations like Crawlspace, Ensnaring Bridge, or Sphere of Safety type of effects, you can just tap your creatures to deal massive damage (3x the number of tapped creatures as you cast the spell!). it might be out of the commander's league, but with the deck being all about tokens, it's a surprising way to take out someone. ;)

My first thought was Conjurer’s Closet. Non-stop Goading!
Yess, added that into the mix :-) really excited to try the deck out
I recommend Spawning Pit. It doubles as a sac outlet and token maker

So happy to see a deck tech around this guy. Any chance you'll do the new Giant commander?

Malakir Rebirth + saccing Kardur in response to something targeting Kardur aiming to remove him can be quite the two punch combo.

@@AXBA92 Splinter twin is a nice add if you want to abuse kardur effect
The fuh. You guys located in Utah?
But do you plan on using his etb or nah
Caltrops is funny
I run wild ricochet
insert >> Burn at the Stake =)
Why? It doesn't trigger anything?

@@rydezolimar9075 Right, capitalizing on the large number of tokens, seems like a good plan b to include.
This isn’t a Monday...
Every black deck shouldn't ever leave home with out a big old Grave Titan.
