Great job well done. You mentioned near the beginning you would have liked pavers but cost. A suggestion if the pebbles don’t suit in the long run. You could mix sand and cement with your pebbles to make a hard slab. More work and more money but you would still be using the pebbles so not wasted. Just a thought.
