What UV resin is used? I would assume the layers exposed to the uv light would harden, leaving a liquid center ,based this on the thickness of the resin pour in the letters, beautiful video
Besides the 3D printing this is mainly hand made, I hope this people are getting payed well, I mean if this was made in USA, Canada o Europe this sign will cost a fortune just to cover the labor cost. We need China so much. Chinese people are smart and hard workers.
The signs are terrible. However, I think they found the perfect niche seeing all those LG OLED signs they were working on. This does seem like a perfect product for in store displays and conventions and things that are temporary it’ll just be tossed out after a few uses or sitting in a store for a couple months

To have all kinds of colored resin and to maintain it will be costly while creating mixture of few colored resin could result in color inaccuracies. Instead I think that printing colored vinyl is much easier and accurate? I'm no expert so I can be wrong😂
Hi, what Materials do they use? Its probably just Resin for the liquid filling. But the walls? Is it PLA, PETG? If its something else I'd really want to know how they print it without warping on such a huge surface area. Thanks for the vid
Vinyl stickers? Vase-Mode with massive layers? Bottom-Tier Creality parts? Unless these signs sit on a shelf, far away from light, heat, and moisture , they are just letter-shaped land-fill fodder.
These leds aren‘t gonna work for long… they are partly completely covered by another bent strip and will get really hot which leads to a much shortened life!

Word of advice, print in Vase mode, not only will it print faster, you won't have this seam on every layer.

I was wondering this too but you could get the same effect with a clear 2 part epoxy resin mixed with some white semi-transparent epoxy dye.

간판 표면에 시트지를 투명 레진으로 덮는데 레진이 태양광에서 오랜시간 지나면 황변이 오던데 여기에 사용되는 레진은 황변이 없는건지 궁금하네요
우레탄 황변 , 아크릴 갈라짐. 폴리에스터 허옇게... 과연 뭘 썼을 까요??
이건 실내용일것 같네요.. 옥외용은 변색이 금방 될겁니다.
외부 2년 보장이고 탈색은 잉크(솔벤,UV)를 사용해 오랜기간 없습니다

Which polymer did they use to form the transparent front side of the letters?
Is probably a UV cured resin like the ones sold at hobby stores. The only harden when expose to UV light.

the αl of PLA and PETG is small, the property is stable. And now we apply PES, which is more durable, in whole whether.
