- The ancient Celtic wedding tradition of handfasting is what gives us the modern term 'tying the knot'. Nowadays it is a common feature of Humanist wedding ceremonies. Here's a wee taster of Nicola and Greig's handfasting ceremony with Fiona Flanagan IHC Celebrant Scotland at Melville Castle.
This is excellent. Thank you so much Philip for sharing and the beautiful job that Fiona did for Greig and Nicola's wedding.

Hi! Are there directions anywhere on how they did this to create the knot at the end!? my fiancé an I are doing this at our wedding and we love this example the most but can't seem to figure out how to wrap the ribbon so that it when it's pulled it creates the knot
Hi Angela. I'm afraid I don't know how to do the knots but here's the Fiona Flanagan's facebook page, I'm sure she would be happy to help you: facebook.com/fionahumanist/

Where can I get this in Houston
I'm not sure, Morning Star, I'm only familiar with Scotland. Maybe googling "handfasting in Houston" might help?
